Why you picked the 1956 studio Un ballo in maschera instead of 1957 La Scala?
Because the studio recording has a better sound and it is as spirited as the live one. I love Votto's conducting.

Callas sounds so much better in the live La Scala. She always sounds better live. I hate that we don't have a live Gioconda 😢😢😢
