Some interesting things to check out when I return next month, although my past experience with Osaka Station involved getting lost and always seemed to end up at a different exit.
I don't think anyone has visited Osaka Station and not been lost at some point...
These platform screen doors are amazing. I had never seen anything like it.

@@japanunravelled that wasn’t what shocked me the most. Even in my country we have platform screen doors with integrated displays. What’s absolutely insane to me is how they slide to accommodate different door layouts on different trains. It’s amazing

@@japanunravelled I’m from Israel. In Tel Aviv the underground stations all have platform screen doors with nice displays, unfortunately they don’t show which carriages are less crowded like some places in Japan.

I just hope I don't get locked inside by the ic gates like i did in kyoto

@@japanunravelled i went to kyoto station via local train and the ic gates everywhere refused to let me go anywhere and the jr ticket attendant yelled at me for not showing my shinkanzen ticket until about an hour later of trying it let me out once

Why did it take you an hour to figure out what the problem was ?
If the IC card doesn't work, approach the JR staff immediately and they will adjust your IC card for you.😊
