Tattoos get a bad rap in mainstream society. And as a result, some/most tattoo artists are extremely underrated and under appreciated.
No one is doubting the artist skills here the drawings are fantastic BUT not for the humans skin
How was this supposed to change anybodies mind about tattoos? You decide to become a canvas, you live it down your remaining life. Huge tats once considered great sag, bloat, thin, fade, wrinkle, take on varicose, get scarred, detrimentally camouflage skin conditions... and this is certainly a partial list. The most impressive tats I've ever seen are the once that have solid meaning, commemorating family, service, affiliation, etc... dedication or loyalty. Most of those in the vid seem like people caught up in a very expensive (in more than one way) one-up-man-ship. If you need to get an artsy tat, keeping it of reasonable size seems wise.

@@bethanygee6939 he's technically right tho... We live in a narcissist type of world where people like to mark their bodies to show off to people who really don't give a fuck. Like a back tat, who the fuck is that for? Not the person who has it that's for sure.
@@chicoandthem4n How do you know? I got body piercings and was told it was too show off for dudes when I was single for years before and after. I got them for me because i liked how it looked.
I would only get tattoos that have meaning, like my childrens names. I would hate having a random tattoo that has zero meaning and knowing it will be there forever.

The single eye on the inside of the forearm is just gross.
All very well until the ink of the tattoo tends to fade as microphage activity removes the ink particles. Such fading is especially significant when tattoos are exposed to direct sunlight. All one is then left with then is a blurred unimpressive faded image and a whole load of skin damage and contamination. Is it worth the cost and the pain ? Sensible people would say it is not logical and not worth it. Impulsive people would say "go for it" because the longterm negative consequences are not of any concern on a short immediate time horizon. Plus the pain causes dopamine release in the human brain, making having tattoo addictive. This is all well documented and understood by psychologists.

For many like myself, tats will forever be like bumper stickers. No matter how good they are, they still make a car look cheap.
Old school here. Always wanted to like tats, never got there. I think they limit you in life.
Change my mind about tattoos? Never. The Bible strictly forbids them (see Leviticus 19:28). And why? Because you were made in the image of God (see Genesis 1:27). God never says, "oops." Leave perfection alone. You look great just the way you are!
What about babies born with Gastroschisis or cleft lip? Gastroschisis is when the baby's intestines or sometimes the liver is outside their stomach when they're born, cleft lip is when there's a opening or split in the roof of the mouth and lip. Those disorders sound like a *huge* oops to me! Or would you tell the parents not to treat their baby's medical problems because god never says oops?
