Autumn steam on narrow gauge

On November 11, the Foundation NVBS Excursions organizes a day in and around the museum of the Steam Train Katwijk Leiden. The Dutch Association of Enthusiasts in Rail and Tram Transport (NVBS) was founded in 1931, and as an active volunteer organization, meetings and activities are organized throughout the country.
In recent years, much has happened in and around the narrow-gauge museum. The railway line has been extended and completed, giving the museum a route around the entire Valkenburgse Meer. Additionally, a lot of rolling stock has been taken care of and restored, and, last but not least, the indoor museum has been completely redesigned.
With three steam locomotives under pressure and a variety of smaller and larger diesel locomotives, the NVBS is welcomed. Throughout the day, various activities will take place, including historical train combinations on the track, of which this video reports.
