- Pastel Brankino, better known by his pseudonym Dr. Peace, is a 50-year-old American assassin who is a corrupt vice detective, master gunslinger, and is called the "department store of crime." He is also a karaoke enthusiast. He is ranked 9th in the UAA. Peace is very similar to Travis, except for explaining that he enjoys taking lives from others; it is his passion and his calling. His weapon, dual golden revolvers are a possible homage to Emir Parkreiner of killer7's golden gun.
Love the fact a lot of the assassins you kill seem so sad and regretful, and that you don’t really care to listen to them cause you want to be #1 and get to the final boss. Just for Travis to end up the same way and get sick of all the killing too.
I think Destroyman’s probably the exception to that which is interesting considering he’s the only one from the first game who becomes a recurring boss in the later instalments.

In terms of design and character, I think Dr.Peace is my favorite assassin from the first game. I really wish he stuck around just a bit longer so we could learn more about him, or at least hear his golden pipes once more.
I think it's weird that Destroyman was brought back while Dr. Peace got a surrogate in Million Gunman considering Dr. Peace's injury would make more sense to be survivable, but I guess seeking revenge wouldn't make much sense for him as a character, considering it seemed like he was done being an assassin and had made peace with dying.
@@DekuDunkstar I honestly think him surviving but being out of the assassin game for good would have been nice still. Like he was a character you ran into in the story but didn't fight

@@trashman3319 Destroy man is a sort of joke character since he is based in Kamen rider and people usually say that his comeback was a reference to the comic rule of "no character really dies besides uncle ben" that says in comics eveyone that dies comes back somehow

The song used for Travis' fight against Helter Skelter in the original trailer. Cool they used it in the game.
It’s cool to me to see media from almost 15 years ago that still manages to be relevant or just hold up insanely well, NMH is a game that I can never really see aging poorly let alone the soundtrack

he did say him and Travis are a lot alike, so he's just as bloodthirsty and morally corrupt as everyone else in this game

i believe its also a refrence to doc holliday, a famous gunslinger and the in famous colt single action armys or "peacemakers" that are icon to the old west. some theories suggest doc holliday had a peacemaker, some experts say otherwise.
So, ergo "Dr.Peace"

Being that he's a bit older, and uses ranged weapons, I'd assume he'd have been higher ranked. Maybe swap him with Harvey Forgetableoski

Dr Peace is invincible while he's charging his explosive bullet, and it cannot be blocked. Dodge it, or it'll send Travis flying across the stadium and do heavy damage. Just before he unleashes it, he'll glow yellow. In fact, this is a general tip. Any attacks that show the enemy charging up or glowing yellow cannot be blocked. At the end of the fight, Dr Peace and Travis will agree to a quick-draw duel, where the first person to draw their weapon will be able to kill the other. When the prompt appears on screen, press it quickly to end the fight. Failing to do so in time will cause damage to Travis and resume the fight.

@@Brocolipe The Quick-draw duel is, yes. I'm not clear on whether Travis just takes damage if he fails, or if he just fucking dies.

I would like to know, How do you find their back stories? I looked all over in the game. Is it in the booklet?
After you beat the game, you can play again to find trading cards that feature concept art and some brief bits of info for all of the main characters.
Ratchet Fiend If you still haven't figure it out then I will tell you. You find Dr Peace singing in an empty baseball studium meaning that he is lonely. He mentions seeing his daugther for the frist time, but her and her mother hate him despite the fact the he was immature back then. When you've kill him, he mentions something about his daugther is going to love his next song. Meaning that they prefer him died.
