JESUS IDENTIFIES--THE FINAL GENERATION

- Jesus held His private PROPHECY briefing of the Apostles on a hillside overlooking Jerusalem.
He explained how to know when you are in the FINAL GENERATION.
The disciples asked Jesus a question that interested all of us, and I’m so glad they did.
Follow along as they ask in Matthew 24:3 and as Jesus answers them in verses 8 and 33.
This week, I examined just how much God has left for us to know about the future.
Here is what I found, summarized by a series of NUMBERS!
I hold the ONE Book that God wrote-the Bible.
That one book has TWO parts-the Old Testament and the New Testament.
Those two parts comprise SIXTY-SIX individual books we call the 39 Old Testament and 27 New Testament books.
This one book, made up of 66 books, has 31,103 verses.
Of all the verses in the Bible, 8,352 are prophetic or spoke to future events. All Biblical predictions about the future in these thousands of verses can be grouped into 737 predictions.
Of these 8,352 verses, 6,312 (or 522 different predictions) have already happened to the letter, JUST LIKE God’s Word said they would.
That leaves just about 2,040 verses with 215 specific predictions from God about the end of the world that are being fulfilled.
So, the Bible contains many specific events that would signal the end of days for life on planet Earth as it has been for the past several thousand years.
Each prophetic sign Christ and His apostles gave is specific and not vague.
Jesus explained to us in Matthew 24, verses 8 and 33-34, that these events would begin at the same time, run concurrently, and crescendo like the pains of a woman giving birth the closer we get to His Second Coming.
Matthew 24:8, 33-34 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near-at the doors! 34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.
The list of Biblical Signs of Christ's Return will not actually be full-blown until the Tribulation time.
Each of the signs of Christ's Return He said--are trends.
These trends are speeding up-the last seconds of the countdown clock of Christ's return are clicking down.
Each day, the prophetic picture Christ painted grows clearer.
The apostles and prophets captured Each of these signs between 2,000 and 3,500 years ago.
Now, they are happening in our lifetime!
But, in all of history--ONLY our generation has seen EVERY ONE of these events starting to unfold.

It is true that everything is happening exactly as Jesus predicted . I'm 59 years old and I see a big difference between my childhood and today , everything is completely different in all levels , unfortunately . I just wanna that God bless and open the eyes of a millions people around the world because we need the grace of God . May God bless all families, all young people, children, the elderly, the sick, people in prison, all homes, in short, everyone.🙏🙏🙏

@ luisdasilva3879 yes, love is the greatest of all gifts. That said, the Bible also states to be of no part of this world. That the devil masquerades as an angel of light, and the whole world is under the power of the wicked one.

The River Euphrates drying up to me is a huge eye opening line. The second you die you are in heaven all you see and feel and focus on is God. His golden grace feels so wonderful.
How can that be if the DEAD in Christ are raised first then we which are alive…if we are in heaven do we come back to earth? Plus going to heaven immediately upon death violates the gospel requiring a resurrection 1 Cor. 15:1-3

@@davidlatham8271 the Spirit goes to God immediately at death or hell but the dead in Christ is the immortal body will rise from the graves to join with ,the Spirit and those alive will change immediately to an immortal body to enter heaven. The alive who is raptured changes into the immortal ,body because they have not died yet. Your Spirit is joined with your immortal body. The immortal body is like Jesus’s body was after His Resurrection. He looks, walks, talks, eats just like a human body but its now an immortal body.

Prepare your hearts to endure the tribulation, not everybody agrees in the sequence of rapture first.
Some people believe the rapture won't happen until after the tribulation so adamantly that if the Lord shows up before what they feel is the appointed time, I think they would argue with Him.

When He speaks of “surely this generation will not pass” to me it sure seams he’s talking about the destruction of the temple… if he’s talking about last days that would give us a time frame and a pretty good idea of when He will return… but He says very clearly no body will know the time or the hour not even the Son but only the Father. So with that being said it’s unlikely He is talking about the return of man in that particular verse about this generation not passing
You should finish reading at least the chapter BUT maybe the whole book, then you might understand 😉 depends if YHWH chose you. 😮
I liked the numbers that you provided because I am writing out every verse in the Bible and making a comment on each. Now I know how big of a task I have ahead of me because I'v only done Genesis, Revelation and 2/3 of Exodus. It is a very interesting and informative exercise.

Revelation 7:13,14, talks about those that survive the great tribulation.. not everyone will be ruptured.
I was hoping to find out what Jesus said about the final generation but instead I got massive accounting of numbers, verses and percentages. I could not take more the 4 minutes of this accounting and math lesson so I left at the 4 min mark. Cheers.

Thank you for that scripture, it certainly puts a different light on the situation, as I read the 37th psalm in its entirety I conclude that it is talking about the time that we call the Millennium otherwise known as the thousand years in the book of Revelation.

He mentioned Lehman Brothers, the first domino to fall in the Great Financial Crisis of 2008 so it’s after that. But when he talked about great pestilence he didn’t say anything about COvID-19, but did mention H1N1 Bird Flu which I think was being hyped back around 2010 or 2011. So I’m guessing this was from back then.

Greetings, who was Christ talking to in Matthew? Us? Not even close. He just told the Pharisees, apostate priesthood, that their house would be left desolate, Matt 23:38. He repeats himself to the apostles as they are standing there looking at the temple, Matt 24:2. Daniel prophesied that the temple would be destroyed; Christ told them to read his prophecy, Matt 24:15. What did the apostles associate the destruction of the temple with? Sealing up vision and prophecy, Daniel 9:24 What did Christ tell his apostles? For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. They wanted to know when? And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the age? He told them already he was coming back in their lifetime, Matt 16:28. Now they know when, when the Roman armies start surrounding Jerusalem, run. Go to Jerusalem and see if you see a temple standing, it is finished. your friend
The greek word See (horáō) means understand. Not that they would see with their eyes but they would understand the kingdom before they tasted death. You seem pretty knowledgeable on the Bible, you should know Jesus uses parallels alot, just like you must eat of my flesh and drink of my blood. STUDY
"This generation" is the people to whom Christ was addressing; they were sitting and standing in front of him. We cannot insert ourselves into the text as if he was talking to us; this would make the text fiction. Generation in Matthew:
Matthew 3:7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Why is John telling them to run from the wrath of God if it did not apply to them? It did apply to them, within 40 years.
Matthew 11:16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows. Is Christ talking about a 2,000 year removed people? Absolutely not, this generation is standing in front of him.
Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. Christ is saying the same thing John was saying; who are they speaking to? Not us today, they were speaking to the people standing in front of them.
Matthew 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: Who just asked him for a sign? A man standing in front of him. Christ was referring to some distant 2,000 year removed generation? How foolish to assume this man was not part of "this generation" to whom Christ was speaking.
Matthew 12:41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. Nineveh repented at the preaching of Jonas, but the Pharisees and Sadducees who lived in Jerusalem would not repent, thus, they were about to suffer wrath.
Matthew 12:42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. She gave Solomon great gifts, loaded down on camels, and was more righteous than the current apostate priesthood, which is about to be destroyed. Jocephus tells us the table of shew bread represented the zodiac and the curtain/veil was made in Babylon.
Matthew 12:45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. Who is Christ talking to? The generation standing in front of him.
Matthew 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed. Who was seeking a sign? Us today? No The people standing in front of Christ asked for the sign.
Matthew 17:17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. Who is Christ with? Who is the you? Again, the people standing in front of him.
Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Who is Christ addressing? Us? Not even close. FInd a 10 year old child and ask them to read this and define the people who Christ is talking to.
Matthew 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. All of the wrath and tribulation was for that first century generation. Unless you're willing to call Christ a liar.
Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Christ was sent to fulfill the law. What did the law say? It said if you break it the consequences are severe. Christ destroyed the temple in judgment, ending the old covenant. That "age" ended. It is finished. your friend

Daniels 70 weeks
Daniels' prophecy was fulfilled 2,000 years ago. Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
70 weeks is 490 years, total. Upon whom and where? Thy people are the Jews and the holy city is Jerusalem. What was transgressed? The law/torah, read the prophets, all of them, the covenant was broken. Almost all of the prophets talk about the "last days" "latter days" of the old covenant, which is what they lived under. To make an end of sins: Christ was sacrificed as the passover lamb, crucified right before the sabbath (high day, John 19:31/1st day of unleavened bread). To bring in everlasting righteousness: Daniel 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed (this happens while Rome is in power/Daniel chapter 2 exact same prophecy). To seal up the vision and prophecy: Christ said: For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John (the baptist/Matthew 11:13) and For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled (Luke 21:22). The song of Moses (Deuteronomy 32) is being sung in Revelation 15, it is a song about vengeance. To anoint the most holy: Christ is the high priest, forever.
Daniel 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
Nehemiah was given the commandment to build Jerusalem in approximately 444 B.C.. Built in troublous times, read Nehemiah, they kept their swords tied to their thighs while they built the wall.
Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
Christ was crucified. The Romans came and destroyed Jerusalem, and all of Israel. Christ talked about his return in the lifetime of his audience, Matthew 10:23 & 16:27-28, and told them they would see Daniels prophecy of the desolation and to read the text. Christ told his audience the temple (named heaven and earth by the Jews) would be destroyed and to flee when they saw the armies. Peter said he was living in the last days, Acts 2. Peter also told his audience they would see the revelation 1 Peter 1:13. This is "the last day" (day temple was destroyed) Christ spoke about in John 6, the last day of the old covenant.
Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
God makes covenants with mankind. The old covenant was about to vanish away (the last days are defined as the last days of the old covenant), Hebrews 8:13. The new covenant, Jeremiah 31:31-34, quoted in Hebrews 8:10 & 10:16 is now installed upon the destruction of the temple. 2 Peter 3 talks about these elements being destroyed, the elements of the old covenant/law, which administered death, the last enemy to be destroyed is death, the law. Same elements Paul talked about in Galatians 4. Christ commissioned the apostles/disciples to take the gospel to the ends of the known world, this took 40 years (confirming the covenant for one week). This task was accomplished, Romans 10:18, 16:26 & Colossians 1:23. The new heavens and earth prophesied in Isaiah 65 & 66 can now come, the new Jerusalem. John paints a picture of this city showing the perfection of the kingdom, Revelation 21. Christ prayed "thy kingdom come", it did. Ephesians 2 elaborates on what faith is built upon, same thing John paints in Revelation 21.
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Until you are told: The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass. So, Christ has known for one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight years about his imminent return....let that sink in. There is a reason no one has seen or heard from a prophet of God for nearly 2,000 years. Christ fulfilled the law, per his own testimony. Every New Testament writer tells their immediate audience that Christ was coming in their lifetime, he did. Christ said: For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. If a person does not believe that Christ came when he said he would and fulfilled the law; then a morning and evening sacrifice needs to be made, because you are still living under the law.

Rather than defending what we believe, we should compare our beliefs to Jesus prophecy about his 2nd coming and the gathering of the saints! The 1st resurrection happens when the last Trump is blown!
No, the first resurection happens when we repent and are born again. We are translated into His kingdom. Because we have rebirth into the kingdom of God. ('Ye must be born again.' ), the second death has no power on a Christian. Oh, grave where is your victory, death where is your sting.
