    Decatted with Racefit Black Edition Exhaust.
    I reduced the overall sound level by adding a Racefit Growler and Diffuser insert. The peak sound level was reduced by 5 dB's
    There are a few sound levels in this video; here they are in order:
    1. Racefit Black Edition
    2. Racefit Growler without diffuser
    3. Racefit Growler with diffuser insert
    4. Racefit Growler with diffuser and packing around diffuser tube

    As someone who drills through metal for a living, it made me happy to see you deburr with a countersink bit. Its worth noting that a much bigger burr is on the opposite side of your stackup though

    '22 Carbon R. I got an exhaust from Abu Soleman, (often seen on the FTR Sites) Too Loud at first, but I then paid for a longer muffler and suppressors to try. My Bike sounds amazing now. Save yourself the extra $300 and order the long muffler and long suppressor. That is the Best $900 full exhaust available. I've listened to all the clips available. Mine sounds better. Makes me Giddy.. Every time I twist the throttle.

    Man how did you cut the exhaust to get the slip on race fit

      @soulomoto  Před 5 měsíci

      Hi, thanks for the question. The oem header was cut and fitted for the slip on in a custom exhaust shop in Omaha NE.

    how did you get access to the rear exhaust manifold bolt? Did you have to take off the seat, tank and side swingarm cover to be able to torque it down to the right spec.

      I didn't do the original header install. I'm sorry I can't answer this question.

      Loud pipes on bikes definitely help in being safer on the road when half of "drivers" today are looking at their phone screens.

      I bought the bike used with the Racefit Black Edition already installed; it was a welcomed option over the coal-burning-powerplant-sized-smoke stack-searing-ankle-heat-producing-catyltic-oem system. That thing is the abomination, imho... BUT mfg’s gotta do what they gotta do; thank God for aftermarket producers like Racefit.
      I do wonder though, better off how? As in what exactly? Or are you just a troll?

    • @Rayraysplums
      @Rayraysplums Před rokem +2

      @@soulomoto no not trolling just it seemed to me like you was making the exhaust quieter and quieter and i thought maybe you'd have been better off with the oem. Maybe i got the wrong end of the stick with what you was trying to accomplish and if i did my bad. Lovely bike and exhaust. 👌

    • @soulomoto
      @soulomoto  Před rokem +3

      Okay, I think now I understand your comment, and that makes sense. I do prefer a louder exhaust on my bikes. I love the sound, and they run better without the restriction of a catalytic converter, but this was too harsh at first. Please accept my apology for asking if you were a troll, and thank you for the compliment.
