- So I tried the Season of the Nine-Colored Deer quests and I felt betrayed by what happened. I was expecting one thing, but got something completely different instead.

When I did the first quest of krills, there wasn't any shared memory. So I actually lost 5 WLs 😂😂. It wasn't that bad though.... As there are sky kids who lost 30,40 WLs in the quest 😢😢 coz after getting hit, they had no way to restore light so they kept losing wings. I am happy you didn't lose any though. 😊😊
And yes! You figured it right! Orange colored spirits are the spirits of the current or ongoing season. There are 4 such spirits in crescent oasis. All the best finding all of them!
Also, yeah, you get quests one after the other and also in a few days gap as a season is usually 2-3 months long.

I almost saw one of these unfortunate skykids when i was retracing my steps to try get back to Vault of Knowledge (impossible for some reason) and since I already did the quest, there was no darkness around me, so I pretty much mad dashed all over to return their wl back, even if to them, it probably looked like wl was being returned to them all by themselves. :,D Might as well assist others from beyond the mission!

Wow, good job not losing any winged light (and somehow falling out of bounds 😂)! And yeah, that’s how seasons work. While you’re in between quests, you can find the 4 spirits and use the daily quests to get the candles for the spirits’ cosmetics. I’m personally gonna get the Princess’ cosmetics first. And to see the cosmetics, there’s a seasonal constellation where the rest of the realm constellations are, right in between Hidden Forest and Valley of Triumph. There’s also 2 winged light in the area.
I think it’s actually Chinese music, or at least Chinese inspired, since the Nine Colored Deer is a Chinese story.
You could probably look for professional swimming lessons. That might be more helpful than getting tips from friends.
I was meaning to listen to Aurora’s discography for a while, but you doing the quest finally motivated me to do it lol!
When a quest requires you to find a specific spirit, their grave won’t have the spirit show up. It’ll have question marks around the grave.
They’re playing with one of the new spirit expressions, where you flex. If you want it, next time you go to the area, go on top of the mural rock and look around.
Lol, that’s a hard spirit to get. I don’t blame you for your frustration XD. It’s not Pleaful Parent though. At least this one isn’t timed like Pleaful Parent. Still, that veteran could have been more helpful. Like, who leaves a moth to do that whole spirit on their own?
The Revival quests and the Little Prince quests might be a little more calming when you need it.
Yeah I was expecting to lose some lights but thankfully I found a shared memory which restored my light and also it glitched out right before I was attacked. So, I managed to avoid losing it haha

This necklace on the player's neck is the necklace of the season. It enables you to take items for those who buy them only. It usually costs $10 per person, and there is another that costs $20 for you and two of your friends. This season is special and contains beautiful items and has four pieces of clothing. Usually, this is not available in some seasons, most likely. This is what I saw it during my time playing Sky for a year, and I advise you to play every day and do the daily missions, even if they are difficult, you can still ask for help from other players. I am sure that they will want to help you and learn more about the game.😊
I did hear that the freebies of this season are also good and that there is a good amount of them as well. I will do the dailies as much as I can. Thanks for the info

All the same; if I´d be there, I´d take his hand and do the trick where if you enter the Crab Sands through the Spirit Gate right from the Graveyard and back again, there would be no Krill at the start and then get the spirit. Aka pretty much how I got it.

You know, kk. You should save some deer candles to buy a new outfit (a new pair of pants for your skykid). It costs only 8 candles!!!! Super cheap, man.
I will show you how to get it:
- First, you need to save the Hunter spirit. When you travel to the Cresent Oasis (the fancy lady will teleport you there), fly up high and then land on the stone ledge, you will see the Hunter spirit (in orange). Relieve it to get the Flex expression (pretty cool expression in my opinion).
- Go home and check the constellation. You can buy stuff from spirit from Constellation at home, remember? The Deer constellation is between Valley and Golden Wasteland constellations.
- Tap on the Hunter spirit to buy the outfit with only 8 Deer candles.
The outfit is not to flashy so it may suit your taste. You may save candles to get Hunter's cape too. That is pretty cool too.
So go save the Hunter Spirit and reward yourself a nice new outfit, kk!!!!! 😘😘😘

lil tip for the seasonal spirits: theres one over the mural, another in like the front porch of the castle, and the last one, if you go in the castles throne room, theres a passageway and another room where the last one is

People say they lost winged light which I find strange since although I had the visuals of loosing winged light I did not loose a single one.
If you did loose winged light you either did not know your original winged light number or your game was bugged.

Nah its not a bug many people have lost wings its part of the quest if it wasn't a part of the quest we would see it in the known issues as people losing wings in the first quest but there isn't anything about the wings being lost 👀

Nope, it´s part of the story. I lost 6 wl on the way there (playing Sky Demo on Steam) and it´s because of being extinguished by that Krill while still being among the Darkness Plants; it´s unavoidable unless you do what kk did and recharge yourself via Shared Memory/Space.
Well it was fun to see you interact with the little bits of the season we got until now. It was so sad to see you so scared during the cutscene and how much that actually affects you to the rest of your recording.
I know you going to the seasonal area and experiencing the fear of losing wings then entering an area supposedly empty, it can make you feel unmotivated. But I do hope that you're feeling better after this and can give the Season another chance and explore around to get the spirits, enjoy the views, you can enter the castle and see what's inside, and do the seasonal quests from the guide whenever they're available
Usually the seasonal places have nice or cozy places to hang out so maybe you'll find one there if you keep exploring around :)
The logistics you had to relive the quest spirit was good but that spirit itself it's a difficult one so we do understand 😅 it's kind of disappointing that the other player didn't help you out so much, lots of us have expressed our dissatisfaction with that and so do I. Of course I don't mean to judge the other player but it would been better some help :/ It was so sad seeing you so frustrated
Remember that you can try the spirit another time, and that hopefully others can help you.
Also the purple light spirits you call "eden spirits" are previous seasonal spirits you unlocked after going to eden for the first time. In that same logic spirits that are orange coloured are the current seasonal spirits.

I was not expecting to be thrown into the krills and getting krilled immediately upon starting the season haha. But it's fine. The deer saved me.
I didn't know that you had to wait for the quests to unlock. I thought we could straightaway do as many quests as we can. So was a bit disappointed because of that. But that's also fine.
I did read a comment saying that we can enter the castle, but I haven't tried it so will need to do that.
I don't really mind that player not helping me. They were probably busy with something else or they just didn't feel like doing this spirit.
Oh so the eden spirits are seasonal spirits huh? I feel like somebody has told me that before (it might have been you), but I forgot about that haha.

In ur constilation with all the expression from the different maps in the middle of swiping u will find the expression manue of this season and u can buy free stuff using ur seasonal candle abd their is 4 spirit in the new area good luck finding them 🤭
There is a safe way to relive the Saluting Protector. Go through the tunnel that takes you to the boat area with the one krill, then come back through the tunnel again and the krill will be gone. Just don't go near the little manta or you will trigger the cutscene and the krill will appear

I guess I was a bit lucky to have found that shared memory which helped me restore my light
At the first part I felt really betrayed too because I also didn’t know that was there and lost so many wl and when I did it it was the very start so I couldn’t complete the quest due to lag, lost 7 wings, the season pass didn’t come to me when I bought it, and couldn’t do spirits… but I got it back :D and the pass ^^
It's good that you got it back. I did read a few comments saying that I shouldn't do the new season because of some glitches and lag and all that. So I put it off for a couple of days.
And yeah this was not what I was expecting haha. I didn't expect to get krilled right at the start
I totally relate to the first experience reliving that spirit, it's one of the annoying ones but not the most difficult one. You can take your time with that spirit since there's no timer, there are safe spots to hide from the krill back there including the place where you ran away to safety. You could just stand on the water and it'd not drain your wings nor make the light countdown happen. I hope you'll manage to relive it somehow.

I was stressed out to see you playing with the spirit in the aviary, you pressed all the emotes EXCEPT the emote that the spirit can do to you 😭 (it's the bowing emote btw) and for the "parents" spirits, you can do the "follow me" emote to them, and they'll hold your hands. AND BTW NICE CONTENT AS ALWAYS 🤩🤩

I think you're supposed to get hit by the krill but somehow you got lucky by glitched through the ground lol
Also about the closed eyes, every skykids actually wearing a mask, but you can buy the maskless mask for 20 or 30 hearts (I forgot), when skykids take off their mask, their eyes arw closed but when they wearing mask, somehow they cpen their eyes
nah nah the last krill no, bc the deer comes first, only the first krill, and none of them are the ones wo take the winged lights, the responsibles of that are the red obscurity

Actually, it doesn't mean that some skykid is a veteran if he wears the chibi mask and some elders hair. I saw a lot of moths buying chibi mask on their first days. And elders hair is not that hard to get. You don't even have to grind Eden for that anymore, just red shards. So...
I've heard that a skykid becomes a veteran when their moths season spirits return as travelling ones 😅
I mean, not everyone who looks cool can play cool and lead others. We know very well that caring/carrying spirits are not easy, especially in the Waste Land. Just in case

Ok, I expected this all the same you did with Season of 9-Colored Deer and honestly, if you uploaded this on the same day that you played this, then there was a real chance we might´ve stumbled across each other, only that I was an unknown kid. 🤭🤭Anyways, AMAZING JOB using the Memory (7:09) for restoring your light, I sadly had none of that, so I had to retrace my steps for 5-or-something wl (7:54 that is indeed a player losing wl!) ... and wow, literally going OOB to avoid the second Krill and still getting attacked. Kind of makes me afraid that when Krill attack, not even going into OOB would save you.

18:48 If the video was uploaded the same day you recorded it, then yes, there was a Shard Event and a Red Shard Event even ... in Golden Wasteland even, it just had a break at that time. 🤭There´s a website called Sky Shards that you can check in case you wish to know when the next Shard Event is.
