Exhibit Spotlight: ARYZ x Emblem 125
-Created by Chop 'em Down Films in collaboration with The Avenue Concept during the artwork installation iin Providence, RI in July 2022.
The Spanish muralist born Octavi Serra Arrizabalaga in Palo Alto, California has his roots in the Barcelona graffiti scene and has evolved his work into a striking contemporary style that practically demands a large format like public art. Often painting in abandoned factories early in his career - because no one would bother him there - he seamlessly transitioned to large-scale building façades in cities from Madrid to Tokyo to San Francisco.
This two-piece mural is a collaboration with The Avenue Concept and Emblem 125, a new mixed-use development in the 195 district. The works draw inspiration from Providence's industrial history and the men and women who made that history possible.
This thrilling exhibit is supported by Emblem 125 with additional sponsorship and artist support from Hilton Providence and Adler's Design Center & Hardware.
