Tatum had to be in his head. He was either mentally out of it, or the Stage of the finals was to big for him and he shrunk because of it. While the warriors played excellent defense on him some of those plays he also just missed a lot of shots he could of knocked down. He also needs to get better at Finishing at the rim and through contact period, a lot of those layups were easy and it’s inexcusable missing all those. Why is he so reliant on that Euro, needs to to get comfortable adding more layups to his package. The defense started easily reading that he was going to Euro when he got in the Lane and he stripped almost every time.

As a rookie he seemed much better from midrange and even his three point percentages have dipped. Maybe hit the weights too much and it messed up his shot, but at this point brown is by far the better pull up shooter and can consistently hit open shots. The good thing is tatum is finishing much better at the rim this year and finally getting a few more calls unlike in this finals where it seemed like half of the times he got stripped were hacks across his arms
One dunk all series and it was a wide open one in game 6 for his only points in the second half. No aggression, sometimes he forgets he’s bigger and more athletic than almost every defender that is thrown at him
