Phil seemed like such a lovely guy. In every interview I’ve seen him, he’s always so gracious. That’s a very nice trait. Dare I say that he looks stunning in all black - he looks great in this guest spot.

Ich finde es einfach grausam, wenn so ein Moderator mit Phil singen will und doch besser schweigt. . Phil ist einfach eine wundervolle Seele. Danke trotzdem. Es ist eine Freude ihn zu sehen und zu hören

Ich muss zustimmen, hier und in einigen anderen Fällen hätte er besser die Klappe gehalten. Doch es gibt eine rühmliche Ausnahme die ich kürzlich entdeckt habe und ihm hoch anrechne: das Duett mit Cass Elliot aus den 70ern ist wunderschön und er war neben John Denver einer der wenigen die Cass Elleiot respektvoll und ebenbürtig behandelt haben.

Eric, Yes, one of a kind, and such a gentle soul. I don't believe that Phil ate a lot of Junk food though, the smoking unfortunately caught up with him 😥

Mike Everly I agree Mike, it was the smoking that sadly took a toll. My mom also died of COPD about sixteen months after Phil. Phil was thin and fit most of his life. I suspect similar to my mom the weight gain later in his life (which wasn’t bad) was related to his disease, as it is hard to walk let alone run or do any cardio exercise if your lungs are compromised.
He was in his early forties in this clip and looked damn good.❤️

@@mikeeverly WE ALL LOVED THE EVELY'S NOBODY LIKE THEM ON EARTH, I MET PHIL IN THE 70'S JAMMED WITH HIM AT HIS HOUSE IN TOLUCA LAKE.THEY WERE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THERE GUITAR PLAYER AT THE TIME. I ALSO RECORDED THAT LAST SHOW THE DID IN ORANGE COUNTY . CHEERS.
