- Im back with another product review, this time i'm looking into the Suppressor by Novritsch, is it worth the money? one way to find out!

Thanks man. I already have the suppressor but the gun gets way too long with it. I'll probably get the short inner and outer barrel together with the adjustment rings to keep the fps up.

Well RIP mate. The SSG-24 is officially outdated and overpriced with the new rifle for 300 euros
M M not outdated the guns are basically the same performance wise not too dissimilar
@@Obsolete_E The new SSG-10 seems to perform better and is 200 euros cheaper...
M M not too much better only slightly and it doesn’t seem necessary to be able to shoot 100m

I know I’m commenting a bit late but I’m thinking of getting a ssg10 and I would like to know where can I find the short barrel
Great video and verry helpfull and honest opinion, but Id do wonder, i will order my ssg10a1 with short outer barrel but the short inner barrel is out of stock, so i will just use the standard inner barrel with the short outer, but will it supress as good as with the short inner since the barrel will be in the supressor?
It'll suppress and will still be a bit quieter its worth noting it won't make a massive difference going to short inner, but a little, make sure you put the baffled foam at the far end rather than the standard close end

I need to get mine to 500 fps. Can you tell me what spring and do I need the fps weights? I have a 150 spring in the gun. Bought a 160 and 170
So it kinda depends exactly what your asking, it's a little confusing, are you trying to get 500fps on a 0.2g bb or the bb weight you plan to use?
is there any difference in range between the long and short barrel? @major
It's a tough one, what I will say is there isn't a "noticeable" difference whether theres a scientific range difference I'm not sure as you'd need a very long windless environment to be able to tell
Hello there great video I was wondering how you remove the orange barrel plug on the end of the ssg-24???
So I was lucky enough that in my country we dont require them, but I dont know how to remove it, firstly are you planning of keeping it / does it matter if its damaged?
Major Woods I was planning on keeping it but if I have to break it that fine as well. I want to put a suppressor adapter but there’s no videos on how to install it lol
@@VrooomProductions so what I would reccomend is take the outer barrel off inner barrel out, (double check there is no screw in the grub hole) then boil a large pot of water and leave in for 10 minutes then take a rag and some mole grips place the rag over the barrel and grips and twist it anti clockwise,

Youll need a different adapter for the ssg10 as you'll need a 14ccw thread
Hey does it work on any other sniper or just that exact one.
I've never tried it on others, although I can't see why it wouldn't work as it makes a difference on aegs aswell (different convo don't expect an aeg to be silent)

Have you done anything else with the gun internally?
only fps adjusters and a new hop up rubber thats all no extra mods, as you can tell from the video as a shooter its still kinda loud, but from a distance its not noticeable
Does it work with AEG m4s or is it only this sniper rifles?
Would it make any difference? yes. Would it be worth it? No. On a aeg the majority of the noise is motor/ gearbox
If it was on hpa it would make a decent difference

Realistically no. Most of the noise comes from the blow back portion
Hey Major Woods, I’m getting a ssg10 a1 rifle, and it’s Spring power:
~2.8 Joules (~500fps, ~M160). Do you think 0.43g BBS will do alright with this gun?
Yeah 0.43g should be fine, what country are you playing in? As you might have to watch for joule creep

@@XxPhillySpecialx so for that power ,0.43s will be fine, you may be able to go even higher just be aware the shot will start getting slower in the air but you'll get a bit more range
@@AirsoftOllie also, I live in PA, which there’s not a lot of wind. But for some reason when I shoot, the bbs keep going a bit to the right side, it’s consistent. Is this a bad thing?
@@XxPhillySpecialx a lot of people tend to lean their rifle to the right if right handed, the easiest thing to try is tilt it a little to the left, if that doesn't make much difference, you'll want to clean your barrel and hop and make sure nothings twisted internally

The word approximately, kind slipped out and wasnt meant to be said, I was also distracted at the time and said the wrong size, tbh not my proudest of videos haha
A plastic outer barrel on the suppressor is even more quiet

Does it have an effect.. yes
Is it as good as on a sniper.... no (unless HPA)
Aegs most of the noise is the mech box not out the barrel, but it does make a tiny bit of difference

I cant give you an official answer so I'm not going to try haha check out novritsch webpage on the suppressor and it should say, if it doesnt contact customers support I would check myself but cant get on the site atm
KayDee de la Cruz he ships the foam and suppressor to you separately so you can put them together without breaking any laws. Also foam Airsoft suppressors are a grey zone in the law, as long as you use it for only Airsoft you are fine
Wich scope do u use?
The novritsch scope with the extension, have run the honeycomb too, but prefer it visually without

I get this question a lot,
Yes it would make a difference.. but..
A. It would be absolutely huge on a pistol,
B. If it's a blowback pistol most of the noise comes from the mechanical components moving so wouldnt make a big difference, finally.
C. The size and the weight would make it very front heavy and possibly stock the slide returning after each shot
So would it fit / work, yes.. would I advise.. strong no

You could, although it's pretty heavy for a pistol so you'll need a really hard blow back and spring

@@An-qt4ob tbh it probably could do it... but it wont make it quiet, most of the noise from gas blow backs isnt out of the barrel it's the slide
