Rip Doc holiday I believe a broad band eq, Compressor, some delay and doubling. All through Logic Pro X
Half Past Seven sorry I ment signal chain mic and preamp that u use and if it was the Avalon 737
Rip Doc holiday It would be the Neumann U87 and Avalon 737 pre. We bypassed eq’s on the Avalon though and just used it to hit the vocals before it went into logic. We used a tiny bit of compression from it but that was it.

I've been on a sort of personal journey to find a version of this song that doesn't leave me wanting more like the original does and this one is so close. The only thing I dislike is your decision to give "thing" two syllables instead of "love" in the chorus (I guess it matters for some reason) and it just doesn't sound right.
It's still a great cover though, the music is very satisfying. Yours is one of only two that I've liked this much
