This is a fairly new market segment and we already have three new-ish players releasing great hardware. Just imagine what the handheld PC market will be in 2-3 years!
This looks promising I have all but abandoned my gaming pc for my quest and switch. Having this would enable me to maintain that freedom of portability I have become accustom to.
@@Thesavagesouls Yeah I've been a long time fan of GPD since their Android device the GPD XD. It's a bit sad to see them falling on their face with much better devices on the horizon. The Win 1, Win 2, and Win Max form factors were good. I imagine if/when AYA Neo, OneXPlayer, OneGX1 Pro, and Win 3 are being sold at the same time, few people will purchase Win 3. The Win 3 simply doesn't make sense from a pure gaming perspective.
Aya neo has the amd drivers so better support for games. But yea win 3 is gonna be more of an emulator machine for me. I backed both. But the aya is in a longer delay but can wait.
@@NatsumeKonno I backed the Neo as well but I ALMOST also backed the OneXPlayer yesterday. Don't rely on the Dpad for fighting games. Sadly it's one or the worst dpad every used. Input don't register at crucial moments. It actually wouldnt register some inputs. Think this was made for first person shooters in mind and not for fighting games. $1K is too much not to have a proper dpad working correctly.
It seems that you are kinda struggling with a mouse - is the mouse fast enough? And can you use the keyboard mode in games? The games I play mostly require a mouse and a keyboard,so that’s the part I’m worrying the most.
This set is good, only problem is when controller button spoilt. Hard to get replacement to repair. Prefer using nintendo switch affordable and easy to get replacement controller
I think the physical size I could deal with, but sometimes even the N. Switch feels kind of heavy in the hands. This thing looks like I'd need to pump some iron to be comfortable with holding it up, maybe I'm wrong though.
Neat, this seems to be exactly what I am looking for: The perfect low-spec gaming or Steam-'in-home' Streaming Machine where one might even (adding a Bluetooth Mouse) reasonably play Strategy games and still be able to read all the text and see all Icons! How good/stable/lowlatency is the Wifi and video decoding on this (and is there a version with LTE)?
There is no LTE model. Wifi not to sure i know the aya neo just upgraded to wifi 6e. Keep in mind this uses intel drivers. So any problems the gpd win 3 games has this will also have. But power wise this wins if you buy the $1500 model. For best game support I think the aya neo is better less errors.
@@NatsumeKonno the 85 isn’t much stronger then the 65. Someone on Reddit did a comparison in the CPU’s and in some the 65 even comes on top and uses less power. Paying all that extra money for 0-6% more power is kinda pointless

I love the bigger screen and the controller sticks & buttons are closer in size to an Xbox controller. One critique is I wish they could have made the sides of the controller sections slightly wider so as it will give for more grip, it would allow the device to rest more in your palms like an Xbox controller, instead of resting on your fingers. I believe this would make if feel “lighter” than it really is when holding it because the weight distribution is more balanced out. This would also make more clearance for the vents on the back and avoid any uncomfortable heat This is a subtle but noticeable comfort difference between that and smaller handheld PCs where it looks like your fingers are bit crammed or you have to kind of curl your hands to hold them. The unit is big anyway, so making it slightly bigger for optimum ergonomics wouldn’t hurt (literally) It like the difference between using controller grips you can get for the Nintendo Switch and then going back to the Switch without them, you can feel the difference after a long period of use. All in all so far it’s the best size and form factor for handheld gaming PCs imo.

go for the GPD Win3 if you like that layout. I'm happy with the look of the layout they have here cause I wouldn't be playing FPS as much on this anyway.
Their concept design sucks though. No originality. I am referring to Lavie Minnie with exact same features and specs as this but really awful design. Out of these design of Concept UFO and Aya Neo is the best.
the onexplayer seems to be more powerful. I put both devices list of games with framerates next to each other and it's not even close. games where the neo can barely hit 50 onexplayer hits 60-90 plus it is a 2.5K device where the neo is 720p (I believe)
@@jdzspace33 It has to be more powerful. It can draw double the power of the chip in the Neo. Intel drivers have a long way to go, so good luck getting a stable experience across multiple games.
