I think the issue with people sending recommendations is that BTS has a HUGE discography and can do so many different genres. If the people that were recommending were sending songs based on genres they liked and not considering what YOU would like, those aren’t gonna land for you. Once I got in to BTS through the R&B and hip hop side, I was able to appreciate more of the other songs outside of those genres but I needed something in a style I really liked to get me hooked first. 🤣
Yea that's completely understandable. Now that I have a better picture, I'll be able to get in more.

@@SilverFang95 Honestly can't remember it all, it was like 2 years or so ago. I just remember liking Fake Love, Butter and Run.

The big difference between BTS and most other K-POP Groups is they write their own Music. Each member is multi talented and no one out does the others. 7 members all quite capable to lead solo careers but choose to stay together because of the love they have for each other and their fans
One thing I always say, is no matter if I like a song or not, I will always give props to artist that write their own music.
Be still my heart! I remember the night before this video was released. The men were in New York but went on live and spent time with us sharing the excitement of the new music drop about to happen. V mischievously was giving us hints of the dance moves and the others stopped him saying he was showing too much. 😂 I think we may have spent a couple of hours together that night. BTS really connect with their fans. 💜

The choreographer for this was front & center opening scene. She is Sienna Lalau, has her own YT channel, and I think she was about 17 at the time. She and the dance group are from Los Angeles, called The Lab and the video was filmed just north of LA. She has done several choreos for BTS. New subscriber....I am ARMY grandma.....suggest for a great female vocalist the Dingo's Killing Voice session for Korean/American powerhouse singer.....AILEE

When you stopped and went back to rewatch the three that you said were 'smooth', which I definitely agree, the one in the front in all black is jhope, he is the Dance/Performance Leader. The one rapping when you asked who that was, and you were talking about you only knowing so many members, that was Suga rapping at that moment. They are both rappers, along with RM

Your reaction put a smile on my face. I'm a 72 yr old senior ARMY since 2019, born and raised in LA, just a few miles from where this was filmed. It's one of my favorites. I miss the boys as they serve in the military, but I know they'll do well. I know you'll get lots of good recommendations. One of mine would be 'Run BTS Dance Practice.'
They also performed this at Grand Central Station. It was shut down in the middle of the night so they could perform this song there for the Jimmy Fallon show.

You need to watch the live performances of BTS on the MAMA or other Korean award shows. Unforgettable performances 💜
Ooohh! You'll see, there is a lot of masterpieces to drink coming from the BTS fountain 😊
I'd suggest you: Dope, Mic Drop, Fake Love (same awesome vibe those you've already seen). Ugh, Ddang, outro: Tear just to start with their excellent rapline and House of Cards and Truth Untold to appreciate the vocal line.
One thing I can assure you: you can't find not a single bad song in their huge discogrphy (more than 400 songs). Every album is a non skip masterpiece.

Around the 4 minute mark you asked who that was - it was Suga. JHope was the one rapping just before him and Jin was the one in the blue jacket.
Actually Jin's jacket is black but he decided to spray paint it white, typically Jin. I did think it was denim until I saw a behind the scenes making video.
@@julieharris4700 It looks bluish in the MV so that was the easiest way to describe it since everyone else is either in black or white.

You are so right. BTS are on another level. KPop is great but this is not that. You should also react to some of their harder stuff like Ugh! and Joke by RM. Straight fire

This song, album & the whole project including a worldwide art exhibition & sponsored dance production (among other things), came out on the eve of the pandemic.
It was supposed to be BTS' swan song (pun intended - you'll learn why), before they entered the military, but they ended up going into a weird limbo state along with the rest of the world & delayed their planned enlistment.
All to say that this could well be why it wasn't recommended to you. 2020-2021 was a strange & stressful time for a lot of people and BTS' "7" project, as successful as it was, is one of the things that got unjustly dampened by the pandemic.
That makes a lot of sense.
