    Hey, my man thanks for this video. I haven’t done this repair yet because I’m waiting for the part to come in but if it’s as easy as it looks I thank you a whole bunch. Wish me luck!

      Good luck! It was just as simple as it looked. Hardest part was leaning over the truck and getting the socket in the right position. Thanks for comment and for watching the channel.

      @@DadsToyBox hey my man it WORKED! No more lights on my dash. SUPER thanks because I was quoted over $900 for this and it only took 20 minutes MAX! You’re a godsend

      That is awesome! That’s why I made the video. I figured other people would have the same issue and might get ripped off by the dealership.

    Do you need to bleed the breaks before replacing the sensors?

    • @DadsToyBox

      You shouldn’t need to but if you want to it couldn’t hurt.

    You don't need bleeding the air ? Thank you on advance.

      No. You do not need to bleed air from the brakes. Thanks for watching!

      @@DadsToyBox Interesting because you’re opening the system. I thought that when you do that you have to because it will pull air in? Not true?

    • @DadsToyBox
      @DadsToyBox  Před rokem +2

      You could bleed them if you wanted but no air is being let in. It’s dripping out brake fluid while your changing them (gravity bleeding). I haven’t noticed any issues with the pedal since replacing the sensors.

    What brand sensor did you go with?? I tried a cheap eBay sensor, 2 of them. The light came back on after a short drive.

      Make sure the electrical connectors are clean and not corroded.
