      @@NoirL.A. There are a few different examples/ways they are blue pilled. One is how they always assume the woman is this innocent person being taken advantage of. They haplessly overlook female nature...when it comes to "sweetheart swindlers" and when women run off with criminals/"bad boys". There are some other ways I've seen that I can't think of at the moment.

This brings back so many memories of how scared shitless I was when I was a kid just watching this show. It's amazing that the reenactments looked so real. Whoever did the casting for the reenactments did an outstanding job with every episode of this show. Now that I think about it I'm not sure which season and episode but believe it or not Matthew McConaughey was actually in an episode of this show as one of the reenactors before he became a celebrity. That was like in the early 90s. I'm so addicted to watching this show here on CZcams that I can't even stop watching it.

His mom was clearly racist. Racists all share the same speech patterns and down play never mention anything viable with true rational fear of well being if a stranger is present. They also act like they can relate to a group in a certain way where as if they had really known these types of people they'd talk with everyone in the same way as their own race. Who says "street person" when most people call them homeless? Back in the day "Street People" was always synonymous with gangs and with people of color namely Blacks. They attempt to stop themselves from sounding racist and are more afraid of the person for their presence of a hated race rather than what things a new face could do. There is a lot that can be said about people that label things inappropriate to a situation.

      Not only that why would he leave his black friend in his apartment to contend with his mom. He had to know that his family would eventually come and find him in there. That would be really mean to do to his friend-why would he set his friend up like that? Seemed like he really liked him. But....he did do that. Its possible that he just didnt think it thru or maybe he intended on coming back and something happened-maybe he was murdered on the street trying to do something nice for someone. This is diffinitely a mystery for sure. Update on the Adam Hecht case: The Hecht family still runs into "Tony" (not his real name) on occasion. He still walks the streets. The family claims that having a rational conversation with Tony is hit and miss, but they are convinced Tony had nothing to do with Adam's disappearance. The family last saw "Tony" on the streets in 2019.
    Also partly how this case made UM is that Robert Stack was a family friend of of Hecht family so this case hit close to home for Mr. Stack.

    A bit of an update on the Adam Hecht Case. Adam's brother, Harold Jr. ran into Tony in 2019 and they talked for awhile. After having talked with Tony for the first time since the mid-late 1990's, Harold Jr now believes that Tony honestly had nothing to do with Adam's disappearance. Sadly, Adam's fate still remains unknown and he has been declared legally dead. Harold Jr and Tony, while not necessarily friends, have become reacquainted and they do talk on occasion.

    • @joshlight6892
      @joshlight6892 Před 3 lety +20

      That's interesting. I just wonder what makes them rule Tony out. Dude was obviously a couple bricks short of a dozen. I wondered if he was still alive. Thing is though, even if Tony did not kill Adam or was not directly involved in his disappearance, he did lure him into a world that may very well have led to his death. Of course we don't know for sure he is dead, but I have to believe he is. Think he would have contacted his family or surfaced in some way by now if he wasn't, if for no other reason to tell them to stop looking. Also Tony apparently told Harold once that if he looked enough on the streets he'd find his answer to Adam's disappearance. Why would Tony say such a thing if he truly had no idea what happened to Adam? Strange case for sure.

Those things can happen to anybody, no matter how comfortable they might think their lives are.

    I just can't get enough of this channel. These Robert Stack episodes are bringing back so many memories! I get a kick out of seeing them again, especially now that I can watch them from the different perspective of a grown woman as opposed to the kid that I was when I first saw them. I didn't think much of it back then, but as a grown up now, I find it amazing how gullible and naive so many of these folks were back then. It truly was a different time. Now if only I could find that one episode with the Hispanic guy whose wife skipped town after she poisoned his protein shake for no apparent reason. I don't know why I remember that particular story so well...but I do, and now I'm jonesin' to see it again.

Why did his mother say she remembered his 'smell' as if he still smelled like the streets/ a pungent odor. As if when he was staying with Adam he didn't clean him up. Also the re enactment of Tony seeing the mom for dinner why did he still look dirty,dingy and smelly. Adam was taking care of Tony letting him live with him he didn't clean him up? I'm convinced that Adam was doing drugs. The family just don't want to bring shame to themselves.

She later told me that the ship was found in the pacific just west of San Francisco, Phillipe jumped ship but coast guard got him and case was to go to trial in San Francisco. Phillipe had charmed her and was at one time staying in her home for a short time in Taos, N.M. By this time I’m sure everything about the case is documented and updated. Last I heard from Helen was around 2005. I’m surprised the family of missing girl doesn’t have all this information. 23:15 Why didn't Adam just open a homeless shelter? He came from an affluent upbringing. I am sure he could have cut ties with Tony and still help the homeless. Tony sounds like a sketchy figure that would show up at your apartment at 3 am begging for money. I am not saying he's bad per say but he comes off as a creep when he tried to kiss Adam's mom and didn't let Adam's brother check up on him along with the hand burning incident.

      Tony killed him.. He did mentioned to his family about walking on the streets with him and if they do so he’s gonna show them where Adam is.. Adam’s body is probably in the street where those homeless ppl b sleeping at.. it’s hidden around somewhere around there..I think the police can still question some homeless ppl that’s still living around there

    • @yelilow
      @yelilow Před 5 lety +7

      Adam's family is incredibly biased though. It was very clear that they hate homeless people and probably people of color as well, so I wouldn't be surprised if they over exaggerated some of the things mentioned, especially since it was just one side of the story.
      Plus I can't see Tony killing him when he had all of that money left in his car.

    There have been several reported sightings of the Freedon over the years; however, none of these sightings have ever been confirmed. Family members of the Haitian crew members have stated that they have not heard from the crew since 1988. Florian Meyer-Bourch's parents have also stated that they have not heard from him since the 1988 disappearance of the Freedon. Although this suggests that the Freedon may have actually sank, but no trace of it has ever been found.
