My grandfather worked at Riverside starting in 1906 as did the founder, Edward Gray, who left in 1909 to become Henry Ford's Chief Engineer as the Highland Park Model T plant would be built. Riverside sold Henry Ford the first power plant for new facility. Gray designed the rest too, but too large to be built at Riverside.
