Gorilí samice Kijivu půjčuje své mládě sestře

- V Rezervaci Dja, novém pavilonu goril v Zoo Praha, vás čeká mimořádná podívaná! Dvě malá gorilí mláďata ve skupině jsou ve světových zoologických zahradách k vidění spíš výjimečně.
Mladší gorilku, která přišla na svět 12. dubna 2024, už její matka Kijivu půjčuje své nevlastní sestře Shindě. Obě gorily spolu žijí celý život, mají pevný vztah a vzájemně si půjčovaly i předchozí mláďata.
Shinda by měla zájem vzít si do náruče i samičku Mobi, narozenou 2. ledna, její matka Duni ale zatím své prvorozené mládě nedává z ruky. Ve skupině totiž není tak dlouho a nemá k ostatním gorilám ještě vybudovanou takovou důvěru. Malá Mobi se pod jejím dohledem už zkouší batolit a stavět se na nohy.

So sweet. I remember from watching the live cam back in the day, baby borrowing used annoy Richard to no end. I notice that now Shinda has had her own baby she is so much more gentle with Kijuvu's babies. She was always kind to them, but is more sensitive now. Just waiting for another surprise from Shinda. Wish they never took down that Gorilla Cam. We could hear them too! I still miss beautiful Tatu! He was so patient, gentle and sweet to baby Kiburi! Such a good natured little soul. There was a video ( I think )from the Gorilla Cam ( because it was in Black and white and you could hear them ) It was 1st night Kiburi was born and Tatu lost his place with Mommy at night. Tatu was just standing there, looking and Mom and Baby, looking so sad, confused and lost. Mom had to keep the baby safe and that means no more Mommy at night. Suddenly sweet Kamba walks up and leads Tatu to her nest where she cuddled the sadness from his sweet little heart. It was such a touching video. I tried to find it ( I have many saved with Tatu because he is the Gorilla Boy who hooked me to loving and watching the Prague Family, and many others now all over. He was wearing that White hat. ) I'm sure you saw it if you watched back then. So many great videos are now just gone, private or who knows where, Sad. Take care. ;-)
@@maryeddy4871 Yes! !🩷 I saw that - thought that was Kibi though - but knowing Kamba she probably did it for both. I read that Kamba was the only one trying to rescue Tatu when the keepers got there, but the others were probably in shock,or knew it was too late. They will always mean so much to us. 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 isn't having Duni wonderful? She is an amazing character. I think Kijivu knows she is related somehow - maybe smell - or she is reminded of Moja for 'some reason'. Wouldn't it be nice if Moja came back one day?
@@lm9991 , Hi, yeah, Sweet Kamba breast feed all of them. I saw that video of Kamba and Kiburi. The one with Tatu was so touching to me. Tatu, even though a funny little Gorilla Boy, had such a tender heart and a lot of times he was such a Good Boy. He was so protective, gentle and sweet to little Kiburi. ( I'm sure you saw the many videos of the two, ) Where, Moja, well, she just grabbed and ran with Kiburi. Tatu would go near Mom and gently grab Kiburi ( and act as if he wasn't doing anything..ha! ) and he just loved hugging him. Kijivu was patient with Tatu and would allow him a few minutes of holding Kiburi, then get him back. ---->

That onetime she had Kiburi on that rope, dangling with him, ( Tatu was always following her with him, like a protector ) and Kib. let out a loud scream, then she got down with him, but it was dangerous and I think she lost grip of him a few times. Kijivu gave her a slap for that move! LOL! So, Moja was rough where Tatu was always careful and gentle. Remember Moja's Temper?? She was so funny as if she was A moody teenage Girl. Moja NEVER held back her feelings. If she was jealous or angry, she would show it. She threw Hay at Kamba and Tatu at night when she was making a nest because Tatu slept with her after Kib, was born. Moja hated sharing Kamba. But, I think Moja squeezed in with them anyway. Sweet Tatu seemed confused to Moja being mad. He was just a sweet Boy and gladly shared Kamba with his big sister.

She was something. There is a page where a visitor has known the family for a long time and she goes and visits Moja now. Moja knows her and will sit with her. I know someone showed Moja videos of the family from Prague. I had seen somewhere in comments that Moja seemed very subdued after and a bit sad. They remember like we do, so no doubt she misses her family. Wild, huh? Gorillas are so sensitive and share our feelings.
OH! I thought the same thing you did @ Kijivu knowing Duni was related to her. Duni meeting the family was such a success and they just loved her so easily as If they knew her. I did write that in comments in one of the newer videos where they were united and in the video comments or a comment it read that ( maybe from staff, but it was from Prague ) that there is no way that the family could tell or realize that Duni was related to Moja. So, I guess that debunked our feelings. But, like you, it really did seem they knew Duni and immediately loved her because they could tell she was Moja's Daughter. I still think something was there....they just bonded so easily. Poor sweet and innocent Bikira never was accepted or liked by the Females there ( the kids eventually loved her )Sadly, My opinion was Richard didn't do his job and defend Bikira and make it known to attack her was not to be tolerated by him. I think the females intimidated him and he should have kicked some ass at times. He even joined them at times. NowI like to think that Bikira is in a Beautiful part of Heaven with all the other Gorillas and Fur-Babies we lost, and they are surrounded by a peace, love and happiness not known here on Earth. The Angels watch over them and at night as they all cuddle together, the Angels sing them to sleep. Bikira loves and mother's Tatu as if he was Tano. ( (Thats my child like mind, I always like to think there is a Heaven for the innocent and loving souls that pass In my Opinion, God has a very special place saved for Furry souls who were loving, kind and peaceful on Earth and he would give them a beautiful place to spend eternity because they deserve it and were so sweet here.)
Yes, I think that Kamba knew that Tatu was in serious danger and tried to free him. Kamba and Tatu had a very special bond. They were beautiful together. There was a sweet video of the two sitting together. Tatu was between her legs, back towards her. They just sat together, looking around and at each other. The happiness they had just being close was obvious. MANY videos are gone now. I know a page from Gorillaphile was edited because she had issues and had to take videos down because of an idiot reporting her video. ( long story) but, she took many other videos down. Sad.

Zajímalo by mě, jestli se táta zlobil, že má Shinda to dítě. Pamatuji si, že se Richard zlobil, když Shinda a Kamba v minulosti vzaly Richardovi a Kijivu děti. Zdálo se, že ve 4:08 táta dal Kijivu malou facku, když utekl. Je naštvaný, že Shinda drží dítě?

Changed a bit, Richard, old Silverback leader, 2 kids, Kiburi/Nuru in other area here.Moja, 1st Born in Spain Zoo, her Daughter is Duni who is here and had a baby. Kijivu (who had baby 2 ) is here Grandma, Shinda is Kijivu's 1/2 sister, Ajabu is Shinda's Son. Kamba, the beautiful older Gorilla was the 2nd Mom to all the Prague Kids because she had a dangerous C-Section resulting in death of her Son baby. Kamba breast fed the Prague Babies, she also would take the older baby under her wing when a new baby was born and lost their place with Mom, Kijivu.Tatu, My Heart, Gentle and great big brother, 2nd born Son, sadly hung himself playing with ropes when family was sleeping. When staff arrived, Kamba was trying to free him, he was already gone. They had to spray her with a hose to get her to move away from Tatu so staff could try to save him. @@MySkinnydip This zoo had a 24 hour live Gorilla Cam. It was great because you could hear them too. Too many complaining Americans, drama, shut it down. Sucks a few ruined it for everyone.
