Seems the Lemon receivers are about 1/3 the cost of Spektrum now! I bought a few 7-channels, both with and without stabilization. Now I know what to do with the voltage sensing wire - thanks. Transmitters...from watching this it looks like I can get another Spektrum NX8 or try this Radiomaster. Guess I'll check them out.

What a literal pain in the ass compared to setting up a Spektrum rx.

I agree, but Lemon receivers are half the price. That is the BIG advantage to Lemon and I don't mind spending a few minutes extra.

2 other benefits in addition to what @dward4644 said. The lemon telemetry is full-range, Spektrum receivers only have fly-by range (unless you get a higher-end model). In practice even flying at a small field, my Spektrum planes are often out of telemetry range. And, the lemon RX is available with a power meter (voltage plus current) so you can track mAh used. This is more accurate for a low battery warning than voltage alone.
I agree that the setup is convoluted and would require the manual nearby. Spektrum's forward programming is a lot more visual, although I find there are still a lot of options to wade through.

EXCELLENT video! Took me a while to find it, but I'm glad I kept looking. Was starting to think I couldn't bind it... I'm not seeing the stabilization go on and off with the switch, but thinking it is because I made it stay "on" all the time. Hard to believe these RX's don't come with instructions. The Reset was a nice add, too. (Bought my RX from you guys, too!)

I love Lemon, all I use. I always thought they made a better, more reliable RX with better diversity and polarization options. But man this new 10 channel telemetry rx with plugs on opposite ends, inches from each other. That is going to be a monstrosity in my already rat nested jets, and a sloppy install In 3d or other planes. Stuff might not even reach and possibly would have to use extensions. I always credited Lemon for having really nice board population. But not so much on this one. I feel like this time it is a case of the engineer not being a end user. Hope they keep making the regular 10 channel diversity receivers now that they can all actually be used with the NX10.

Pretty awesome video and review! I have read the quick guide and a few passes of the full guide but watching you video was much easier to understand. I´m about to give it a try. I was also looking for the meaning of the sensor. Now I know it´s a voltage probe, the one with the metal pin. On the manual says it goes only up to 5S (max 22V)? I ask myself what would go wrong if I connect it to an 6S. Also my older Lemon came with another sensor which seems to be temperature in a place for desire. Like ESC or Inrunner motor (?). I have bought also the current sensors for XT60 (I did not check before up to what current but I think not more than 70A) and also one with EC5 that should work with 100A or more for my EDFs. This are really cool Rx for the money!

Bought the Lemon RX7 (LM0086) Oct.2023 and binded to my Spektrum DX6i. Flashing orange LED light changes to flashing green, then SOLID RED (meaning binding completed) and servos would work but not the throttle, (motor not powering up?). Continual Beeping sound. Motor and ESC working fine when using a servo tester but plugging into Lemon RX...no working throttle, just a continuous beeping!
Resolved!!!! Throttle Trim needed lowered! About 10 to 12 clicks down on the throttle trim and the beeping sound disappeared and throttle stick started working! This happened to me only once before (on a different RX and Transmitter) and took me over an hour to remember what was going on!

@@alexherrera3918The manual says: "If you have Master Gain (channel 8), check that it is set it to the middle of its range" for the first flight. To me this sounds like the master gain uses the full -100 to 100 range. Since the middle of the analog dials gives 0 on my Radiomaster, I assume that 0 is "normal gain", positive numbers are "more gain" and negative numbers are "less gain".

1:30 into vid, it's in bind mode but 1:45 it starts flashing again as he says light is now "solid"! At 1:30, light is flashing faster than at 1:45 which is probably not really flashing at all but just the recording frame rate (shutter speed) of his camera that makes the light appear to be still flashing! I believe him when he says it is solid, but maybe he should have mentioned the camera recording is deceiving?
