    Brings back memories!! I worked in the inspection of drill pipe and casing,!! Oklahoma and Texas panhandle!!! We went to lots of locations!! Money was good and I usually got paid every week ,but some jobs every two weeks!!! Saved money and took good care of my family!! Now it's 2023 and the bad federal government has killed off the oilfield!!!There are a few rigs now operating in Texas !!! And I PRAY that they keep working and we need more DRILLING. But it will never be the same!!!! We have to have oil and gas to Servive because the world economy runs on it!! These bad lefty politicians should know that petroleum is used in important items that we need to Servive!! Medical needs,that medical surgically needed for heart and artificial knee and joint replacement !!! And hospital equipment!!! And other important things all over the world!!!! We have to have Diesel for the semi trucks and trains to deliver important food and goods around the world that we can't servive without!!! The federal government BIDEN OBAMA'S THIRD TERM ARE WOKE, COMMUNIST, NATZIS ,INFLICTING THE NEW World ORDER and GREEN NEW DEAL WILL KILL BILLIONS OF People!!!! 🙏 PRAYING FOR THE SURVIVAL OF HUMANITY!!!! WE MUST NOT GIVE UP!!!! FIGHT BACK!!!!!

      I mean the record low was during Trumps administration at 244 rigs in the U.S. We're at 771 today, so....... never has the patch lost money during a Democratic term as much as they want you to believe they're against it.

      @@MrJrawkk in 2019 the U.S. rig count was1083 and now in 2023 the total count is 613!!!!! I realize there is some variation in the numbers listed for any given month!! BIDEN SAID HE WILL STOP ALL FOSSIL FUELS AND THE DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT HAS NOT BEEN SIGNING THE NEW LEASES FOR GAS ,OIL WELLS UNLESS THEY JUST DID RECENTLY!!! LOOKING AT THE ECONOMY AND THE HIGHEST INFLATION RATE WITH THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION IS NOT NEAR AS GOOD AS IT WAS DURING FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP!!! BIDEN ADMINISTRATION IS OBAMA'S THIRD TERM AND YOU WONT AGREE That THE DEMOCRATS ARE NOW COMMUNISTS and ARE ALSO DOING THE REASET, NEW WORLD ORDER !! AND GREEN NEW DEAL TO DESTROY THIS COUNTRY!!!! IT'S BIBLICAL AND IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF BY THE END OF 2024!!!THEY WILL KILL THIS CONTRY!!! YOU BETTER SAVE UP LOTS OF CAN GOODS!!!

      How did the oilfield get killed off if we're producing more oil in the US than we ever have in our history? (just before pandemic, recovering now to near those levels).

      @@samwise1790 YOUR STATEMENT IS INCORRECT!! WE ARE NOT PRODUCING THE MOST OIL THAT WE EVER HAVE!!! WHERE DID YOU GET THIS DISINFORMATION???? BIDENS ADMINISTRATION SAID THEY ARE GOING TO EVENTUALLY STOP ALL FOSSIL FUELS FOR THE GREEN NEW DEAL!!!! DRILLING IS AT A VERY LOW LEVEL!!!! THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS NOT SIGNING ON NEW OIL LEASES!!!! ALSO OBAMA KILLED OFF COAL MINES!!!! LOOK IT UP!!! NOT ON THE FAKE NEWS SUSTISCTICS!!!! IM DONE TRYING TO EXPLAIN THE TRUTH TO. Decommissioning? Is that how we spend our last yrs in? I'm young, and all ive been on is comissioning. Haven't thought much about the reverse 😅

    • @cannongeorge
      @cannongeorge Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@Skunkhunt_42 I am in California. Oil is not exactly a very popular source of energy here now. I'm decommissioning facilities that are quite capable of flowing X,XXX BOPD. Cementing wells that otherwise have viable bottomhole pressures to allow lift. Didn't imagine this would be in my future but this is California.

    • @Skunkhunt_42
      @Skunkhunt_42 Před 4 měsíci

      @cannongeorge that's wild. Curious, as for the hardware like pumps, valves, instrumentation - who's buying that stuff? I'd hope anything viable gets sold on the used/refurb market. I'm a hoarder of instrumentation valves/fittings.

      When I worked offshore in the early 80s, I used to go into the eye doctor about once a year to have minor debris pulled out of my eyes... Fortunately very minor! Once the doctor said there was a tiny buff-colored cube glued to my eyeball with some black stuff. It was a piece of oil absorbent glued to my eye with crude oil.

  • @samwise1790

    Its honestly kind of impressive to me working in oil now that the industry survived and made money with how many dry holes were drilled. I guess they were a lot cheaper to drill and perf. Nowadays at competent operators, dry holes dont get drilled, just more or less productive.
