- There's an old saying in basketball and in life. Don't poke the bear. A particularly ridiculous take making the rounds right now is that Anthony Edwards is a better player than Luka Doncic. It certainly didn't help that Ant went out of his way to say he was going to be guarding Kyrie.
Well, tonight the Timberwolves got a lot of surprise contributions but faltered when Luka went nuts in the fourth quarter. The best defense in human history they may be, but they have no real answers for Luka and Kyrie right now.

Can't agree that Kidd is underrated. He really deserves the criticism of the past two years. It's like he doesn't care about regular season, player development, detail.
Even in post game interviews he says stuff like "I don't know, I'm just watching the game like you guys".
We're playing better for the past few months but we should have gotten home court advantage for at least the first round.
He's not trash, but he's like a 20th best coach. I tend to watch young teams like Pelicans, Thunder, Pacers and notice a drinking play style that leads to outperformance. It's our GM, Nico Harrison, who's underrated.
We've underperformed given we have a generational talent. It only clicked when we went like 2-7 after the trade deadline and someone must have given him a message.

Luka was better than Ant in 2022 when he was also 22 like Ant is now. And Luka was on the worse team. So far the wolves have gone as far as the mavs did then but I stand by that Luka in 2022 was better than 2024 Ant.

Kyrie isn't top 75 if Dwight Howard isn't. Dwight 8x all star, 5x all NBA, 3x DPOY, 4x reb leader, multiple top 5 mvp finishes, lead Orlando to the finals going through Lebron. Greater than Kyrie without question.

What a dumb argument, Wolves was making every three pointer in the first half and Mavs shot 19% from three yet they've been shooting 42% from three all playoffs, If they made half of their threes this would be a blowout.
@@Gatman06 They didn't dominate the scoreboard. It was a game of runs. Back and forth every quarter. The Wolves final surge came up short. GM 6 vs Denver was what I call domination.
@@jbwuzhere6819 I didn’t say they dominated the scoreboard, I said they dominated them in their own game or strength. The Wolves are known for their defense, rebounds and points in the paint. But the Mavs did better in those two categories, there for dominated them in those areas even though it was a close game, that’s all.
