Just an absolute legend, 'Bo Selecta'!' was the the most pivotal show for me at that time along with 'The Sopranos' that I never missed and would quote for hours! Helped cheer me up through some dark times too. I'm so happy to see Leigh being interviewed and he's just as down to earth as I thought me might be. Big up de Craig, all the best to you both! 😀

I'm sure, I saw Leigh at a Virgin Festival in Leeds around 2005. Hard to say for sure as he was wearing Craig David mask (no hawk), but he he was in budgie smugglers and definitely a gentleman of the ginger representation.

20 years ago I used to do all the characters from Bo Selecta in my place of work, and being an IT guy, EVERYONE at one time or another in the company was "treated" to my rendition of "ReeTOH Craig David here" or "Hee HEE, check my bad self....CHAMONE!" or "OOOOO have you read me new BOOOOK? It's dead SCARYYYYY Oooooo"... but you know what, I had to draw the line somewhere at work...and that was The Bear...

Bo Selecta was my favourite thing when I was in late teens. I almost got a Craig David tattoo but my girlfriend talked me out of it.

weirdly he didnt do impressions of the celebs , yet because im quite good at mimicking voices , i used to impersonate Leigh , doing his impersonation of celebs , the best to do was Mel B , in my mind i was pulling faces like a had the mask on , to other people it probably looked like i was having a stroke 😂
I loved doing the bears voice as well. I will still do Craig Davids voice even now , if i hear a proper northern accent on the TV ill find myself repeating what they said but in Craig Davids voice and adding a proper Bo after it 😂
It was just a daft program , and humans need time to be daft , we arent allowed it anymore and i think the world has become far too serious about everything , life is far too hard without watching something daft imo
