    What an awesome video, glad I found this. I’ve been researching lca’s for my mid 400hp new edge street car. I’ve always been under the assumption to not replace the uppers because of bind, but after watching this video I think it makes sense to purchase everything on that table. You might’ve just got yourself a first time UPR customer

    Hymen joints, spherical bushings on Axel housing. That's how to get a great suspension setup

    I installed UPR non adjustable rear arms on my 1993 convertible with the spherical bushings at the axle 10,000 miles ago. Did not use the quad shocks with the 2.73 or, 3.55's and have had no issues with handling from a stop or, somewhat, aggressive driving. I 'give up' before spinning out. They work for me.

    I had the UPR pro street uppers and lowers on my daily driven fox body that I sold in 2017. I just bought another and I'm trying to decide if I want to go that route again, or go with the non adjustable lowers you show here. Oh, too many decisions LOL.

    Are torque box reinforcements necessary if torque boxes are in decent shape?

    • @uprproducts
      @uprproducts  Před 2 měsíci

      Reinforcements aren't necessary but they are recommended, especially if you're making big power or drag racing.

    My UPR Control Arms don't have Zerk Fittings, older design 😞😞

      You can also just keep them lubed externally. (have to unbolt the arms to do it properly)

    Years ago I had a pair of lower control arms that hinged just behind spring before arm mount, they were something like Mega Bite Jrs? Does anyone make anything like those, my god did that car squat and dig in when accelerating.

    • @uprproducts
      @uprproducts  Před 2 měsíci

      You still see them come up used from time to time, but I don't think they're made anymore. That's old tech. The newer stuff works better.

      @@uprproducts nice plug for your products and I don’t see anything with newer technology that was available back in 2000s other than metal used. I first had tubular Steeda upper and lower control arms with poly bushings before I put the meet bite’s on huge improvement in traction with magebites over tubular lowers. Tubular were a nice step up from factory arms. It was impressive how the car squatted then dug in.

      @@msk3905 - of course we plug our products on our CZcams channel! 😄 But to elaborate, you will NEVER see the original arms you mentioned at the drag strip today. But you'll almost always see UPR suspension at any drag strip today. The reason should be self evident.
