I feel deined of my wholesome ending of Quinns going to a zoo for the first time.
I was about to type almost this exact comment.
I was hoping for Tom to go back on his agreement once the review was done in a manner echoing the theme of the game

They could still salvage the ending by uploading a seemingly random 18 second video where Quinns is at the elephants and comments on their tusks or something. They could call it "Me at the zoo" just like the first video on youtube ever?
Quins figuring out zoos exist, trying to leave and then completely pout his soul out had me in tears

Tom being so nitpicky about metaphors and then calling a tiger a lion had me reeling
I'm curious if it's a call back to SUSD's review of Tigris & Euphrates where Matt points at an image of a lion and calls it a tiger. (at least, it looked like a lion to me!)

Even after watching countless SU&SD videos, I'm still amazed at the sheer joy you have not just for playing board games, but for reviewing them! Funny, smart, thoughtful, well-written, funny, informative, engaging, original, funny, insightful, creative, and comprehensive (while still being approachable, easy to understand, and highly entertaining). Did I mention funny? Like laugh-out-loud-at-your-screen funny? Easily one of your best yet!!

This is outrageous! Quinns didn't even see the elephants at the zoo in the outro! SUaSD should at least budget for an annual zoo visit from this day forward! Unionize!
When checking your CZcams analytics, don't be surprised that a part when Quinns learned about zoos existence got significantly more views than the rest of the video. It's me watching it on repeat bazillion of times

One of my favorite reviews in a while. The zoo discovery bit was fantastic. Bohnanza is one of our favorites, so I bought this right away and can't wait to try it.
Tom getting paid JUST right at $15.99 a month. PS I feel BETRAYED that this didn't end with a shot of Quinn's admiring the London Zoo elephants.
They moved the elephants to Whipsnade a long time ago

I was stunned at Quinns liking the game. There is a rumor that Quinns actually lost the game that one time to the Reference Pear. Never play a negotiation game with the Reference Pear.
Glad John Company got a nod here. Man that's a great game of buttering up your friends and then devouring them like toast.

This is Dentist slander! I think a Dentist is absolutely a Doctor, in fact they might be among the most important ones. If you ever had a root canal you know.
In the UK they are different careers with different training
I (Kyle, the good dentist) tell people all the time I'm a fake doctor, or a tooth doctor. Haha.
I go to the hospital and I can get bits of my eye sliced with a laser. I go to the dentist and somebody puts their knee in my chest and yanks at my tooth with pliers. I hope my point is made 😁

I just played John Company for the first time a while ago it was so much fun but it's going to be hard to get to the table again. I would absolutely play with Tom.

This is a great game. 1st game I took advantage of another player who just didn't care. 2nd was MUCH better. I lost, but I spent the entire game moving peacocks and blocking everyone. It was glorious.

The biggest problem with SUSD is that every time I watch a video, I seem to misplace $30-60 shortly thereafter.
Ending felt kinda out of place but still lovey video! Would have expected a random shot in the zoo of you two playing the game there or something like that xD

Pretty sure that if I tried to play that with my friends, half of the negotiations would be to know if a lion (or crocodile...) can eat (or stomp on...) a marmoset (or peacock...).
I had forgotten about Quo Vardis! I played it in the late 90s at uni and it was so good it appears I've wiped it from my memory! Given this looks quite fun I conclude that either; this version is drastically improved and better OR my ideas on a fun time have drastically changed in the last 20+ years 🤔
