- Fatalis has come to Iceborne, and it's the final monster to end this expansion. Big thanks to Capcom for making a superb game. This is a spoiler playthrough of the Fatalis mission. Many thanks to Capcom and the Monster Hunter crew for making this game fun and enjoyable as this is their final update and final monster for Iceborne. Fatalis was a challenge to behold, and this was worth the wait. Glad to have rested up in Aruba to steady my nerves against this horrible monstrosity. My mom stayed on in Aruba, and while I came back home after my two weeks vacation, I waited for the downloadable update and played through the new mission during my time off from work. I’m very satisfied with this fight, because I knew this was gonna be crazy like Extremoth before. More importantly, many big thanks for the fans of Monster Hunter to bring back their old favorites for which I never played before, as this was my very first Monster Hunter game, and to you - the subscribers - that loved my videos of Monster Hunter World. We have reached the 750 subscriber mark, and I cannot contain my appreciation towards every one of you sticking by me. Let’s reach it even higher, guys! We can do it! Happy Hunting, everyone! (^_^)/

Why does this thing remind me of Smaug? Especially the way he charges up his fire breath at 19:36. The way you can see it building up inside his body

It's strange how few people compare this quest to the battle with Grigorieva in dragon's dogma, another Capcom game. There are so many similarities between the two dragon's, and even the fights themselves. Heck, their entrances are nearly identical, with them emerging from smoky caves/archways and unfurling their wings.
Thank you. I wanted to see what happens after slaying Fatalis because I don't like going solo, even for the first part.
Yeah, me neither. I like attacking the monster with randoms because I can watch his attack patterns more closely and have an idea what to do through the fight. Glad you liked it! Good luck grinding this beast. ;)
@@ReccaWolf I don't know if I will, lol. That's why I'm here instead of seeing for myself in game.
@@ApricityGlow You should at least try. He’s easy once you get the armor and weapon upgrades, and it’s well worth grinding him to get those materials.
@@ReccaWolf Thanks for the encouragement. Maybe one day. If I can just get past the solo part, I feel like I'd be more willing to go into the fight. By myself, I get super stressed and unable to focus. Wish the game didn't force that on people.
@@ApricityGlow Are you stuck on Special Assignment? If you are, you just need to survive a few minutes and attack him. I just went with my Alatreon build and longsword like in the video. His primary weakness is dragon, his secondary weakness is fire.

You can technically make that match up in Stories 2.
after dying at least over 50+ times... the amount of satisfaction I got from finally beating him.. i literally felt like a huge burden got off my chest finally xD
52:29 By *someone I want him to meet,* who was Aiden planning on introducing to Julius? Was he referring to Lea, the Field Team Leader, or the Hunter from World + Iceborne? My personal guess is Lea.
Always loved the look of the alpha armor but the slots on the beta armor were to hard to resist that's why I grinded the extra fatalis shards or cortexs can't remember atm so I could make the alpha layered set so aside from searing pain from fatalis flames it was worth it 😂
