He didn't do the drugs because of his kids and I'm so glad Donny didn't do the drugs. Donny is such a really, really good guy in a lot of ways.
Especially since he didn’t have a normal childhood, which is really hard on a lot of child stars. He and his siblings were all raised right!

@Punkanelly Lovejoy I am a fan of both but yeah the Osmonds did copy the bubble gum and then pop/rock style of the Jacksons. Even so, they are both great groups. With their own skills and gifts!

I live on the other side of the planet and had this big thing for The Osmonds when I was a kid, had no clue of the connections to Jackson five. At the time, you just bought records of foreign artists and knew almost nothing about them.

Oh my stars I laughed so hard watching y'all! I'm a white, 50 yr old, LDS ( Mormon ) lady! I thoroughly enjoyed watching Donny on here with you! Of course I grew up listening to the Osmonds, watching Donny & Marie, and as a teenager in the 80s I danced in the Osmond Family 4th of July show at ASU Stadium in Tempe, Arizona. This was fun thank you!

I sometimes think if MJ's career hadn't gone into the stratosphere then he may have just remained normal like Donny. This guy has always showed class whenever he's been interviewed. My mother r.i.p met him in the 90's at a record store signing in the UK & said he was probably the nicest person she's ever met in her life. MJ had mad talent but money and fame took his mind somewhere else, just wish he was still here though, normal & accessible like Donny.
