Dave because it's bringing Marty back along with his massive following in Japan, Marty because he gets to play songs he helped define, gets paid I'd assume a sizable amount and he gets to play massive festivals again. At the end of the day, everyone goes home and there isn't much commitment after that.

he deserves it, I had the chance to hear them at wacken and the band was boring to be honest, then Marty came out and changed the hole vibe so quickly that I didn't even notice he joined the show, it was like "woooooow wtf just happened? OH! MARTY DID JOIN THEM!!!"

I like how four verses of song was allowed for him just to shred shred Shred. Maybe the best metal solo I've ever heard. He just didn't use pyrotechnics to be flashy: br made sure to do some double stop string bends for some soul feeling.
