Drift Mountain: Matte painting #1

Breakdown of my first "complex" matte painting.
music track: DJ Shadow - Building Steam With Grain Of Salt
This matte painting does not consist out of that many layers as I am not that good at it yet, so it's a layer based composition. I made this completely in After Effects but I did notice the limitations start to show when constructing matte paintings. I will be moving towards Photoshop and Nuke for my future projects.
