As a pianist, and person who writes for the piano, I can inform you. This had to be one of the most painful things I've ever seen. I nearly cried.

Pianos can have an "expiration" deadline when you cant tune it anymore because the string pins cant hold the pressure. When that happens the piano is basiacly "dead" some pople dump it some make a liquer cabinet of it and otjers do this lmao

Okay good. I really didn't believe that it was actually going to sound like the ps2 startup sound and had to find the original to be sure. It wouldn't make sense that any notes would play, because as soon as it smashes, the wires would immediately loose tension and jumble, thus prohibiting any significant tone to be produced. Let alone the entire ps2 startup sound

Oh yeah, just because a piano cannot be repaired it doesn't mean its parts cannot be salvageable and donated or recycled. This wasteful selfish mentality that something is either trash or repairable is certainly depriving children of pianos, wooden shelves and more.
