Coming from a Malaysian..Thailand and Indonesia’s designs are so good😭😭 and the Singaporean Stations look so cleann literally👽👽
Id say malaysian ones are better since they have driverless trains, the platforms are actually wide cuz indonesian platforms are generally more narrow
@Owen Cheong i know also indonesian lrt rolling stock design kinds sucks imo ( this opinion is coming from a indonesian)
Good idea @Zaimy
Wait until you experience it
@@williammj9715 Indonesia also have Driverless Train, The LRT Greater Jakarta.
Malaysia Metro (KL) more attaching in spot area and link with mall, stadium, airport, university, hospital & resident.
- cheaper ticket

yeah we have more train lines but this video is only about mrt & lrt thus why its not included. props to you for mentioning it
Eventhough there are shortcomings but KL’s is still one of the best
2nd best after singapore
Fun fact: The MRT 3 in the Philippines actually has the smallest loading gauge of all 3 rapid transit lines but carries the most passengers. Meanwhile, the LRT 2 is actually designed as a heavy rail metro having the largest loading gauge yet remain heavily underused at an average of 200,000 ridership per day compared to it's 500,000 intended daily ridership design.
Masalahnya di ongkos sedang gajih rendah dan yang kaya pada pakai mobil
the west extension to divisoria needs to happen!
MRT 3 is made by Českomoravska Kolben Danek - Tatra, a manufacturer of Trams in Czech Republic.

At least the monorails will open hopefully by the end of next year they’ve kept extending the completion date!

Love to see how ASEAN countries are developing. Except Singapore, the rest of ASEAN nations seem to have political struggles. Otherwise, I am sure all of the countries will flourish more than this. Hope we all grow strong and become the giant economic hub in the world. Love from Thailand…. :)
Singapore also suffers from political struggles. That's why the opposition was absent for most of the country's existence and currently holds a few areas.

New metro lines and a highspeed rail will be opened next year in Southeast Asia. Hope you'll record that for us as well!
MRT and LRT networks are still few in Indonesia, but rail transportation in Indonesia has many types and choices in various cities.
Indonesia is capable of producing its own trains and also for export.
Fast Trains are almost complete, airport trains, raillink, sky train, commuter lines, long-distance executive and business trains, luxury trains and others.
KL missing ERL + 3 commuter line + Subang skyway. But understandable, those train are heavier with higher speed more than 140kmh. Normal MRT/LRT only 80-100 kmh. Anyways, thanks for sharing beautiful scenery of KL.
Indonesia is quite late in developing metro rail system compared to other countries in the region.
Jakarta as capital city relied heavily on BRT and Commuter Rail for so long. Only pretty recently does Jakarta start to build its metro rail system with MRT Jakarta and LRT Jakarta currently operational.
In 2023, almost fully local Indonesia made system (from signaling technology, tracks, stations, rolling stocks, etc) in LRT Jabodebek will start operational. A 44 km system will connect Jakarta to nearby cities.

It's nice that you have tried most of our rail transport here in indonesia. Though it's not the best, but we still count on them for our daily commutes. I hope that you can come back in a year or two to review the Jabodebek LRT and the Jakarta - Bandung HSR. Cheers!
I think rail indonesia so good and high quality
I would love to!
Many train stations in Asia has platform screen doors that prevents passengers from accidentally falling onto the tracks and / or objects falling onto the tracks.👍👍👍👍👍👍
Except the Philippines and Vietnam are not currently using PSD (platform screen doors)
@@tukaidas1272 Also, prevent passengers from being pushed to death by a psychopath.
@@havidssetiyadi9610 The Philippines would use PSD in the future, As i saw in Manila Metro
Unlike NYC where Asians are being pushed into the trains by other minorities!
But hey at least NYC is an eco friendly city
If not it will be seriously dangerous then, since the passengers will push hard to ones before them to go through the train's door, especially in rush hour.
It usually happened in KRL line (Electric Train/ Commuter Line) from Jakarta to the urban cities, the most busiest rail line in Jakarta, which not covered in this video.
Very interesting!! 😊
wow.. thanks for introducing several ASEAN trains, especially the Indonesian MRT and LRT Trains...
Oh yeah... :DDD
Your channel is very impressive, originally vibes i can feel, no music, no blablabla trash sentences, and high-budget projects i see
Philippines LRT Line 1 was the oldest train system in SE Asia and still working and improving this 2023. The newest stations are Balintawak and Roosevelt and the ongoing Center Station that will connect it to LRT line 2, MRT 3, MRT 7 and the future subway project. I love Metro Manilan Trains so easy for me to go to work and enjoy shopping.
Nice vlog,watching support
Currently we have new MRT in malaysia ..
Indonesian LRT is designed and manufactured by PT. INKA (Train manufacturer in Madiun ,East Java since 1981 ) . The first user is Palembang ,South Sumatera. Jakarta follows 4 years later.......
While the MRT ,is a join production of PT. INKA and Nippon Sharyo (Japan) ,using propulsion system' by Bombardier (Canada) ......
Soon PT. INKA shall be joined by Staedler Swiss (which at this moment is constructing it's factory in Banyuwangi ,East Java )......

We have high hopes for Manila's Metro Train System - MRT3 has been rehabilitated. LRT2 have opened 2 new stations and another extension line is underway. LRT1 extension is underconstruction. PNR Line have new trains in service. NSCR (Airport Express, Commuter Line and Commuter Express) + North and South Long Haul Projects, MRT9 Subway, MRT5 Subway and MRT7 are all under construction. LRT6 with spur line ABCD, MRT4 Monorail, LRT8, MRT10, MRT11 have all been approved and finalizing right of ways.
Finally, all are not drawings anymore! 🙏💖
Yup i’m a fan of that! 👍
MRT 3 LRT 1 &2 every station needs to upgrade
I still remember when Malaysia lrt line was open in 1997, 1 week free ride was full off ppl then half gone when they start charges on the following week ha ha.. But then slowly crowded from day to day. I still keep the free ride ticket untill now.
amazing trains in southeast asia 👏👏👏
Great video mate, it is so High Definition so I was enjoying it very much! Greetings from fellow public transport enthusiast! I am from Indonesia btw :)

Congrats Asean 😊😉👍❤️🎉🎊
Currently we had 3 country from ASEAN are advanced/powerhouse in rapid transit sector as per like this video:
# Only include LRT,MRT and Monorail
# Commuter & Airport line not included
ADVANCED:
1.Singapore 🇸🇬 - 9 lines, 175 station
2.Malaysia 🇲🇾 - 6 lines, 168 station
3.Thailand 🇹🇭 - 5 lines, 118 station
DEVELOPING:
1.Phillipines 🇵🇭 - 3 lines, 46 station
2.Indonesia 🇮🇩 - 3 lines, 32 station
3.Vietnam 🇻🇳 - 1 line, 12 station
Is good to see every asean country owned and maintained their rapid transit public transport and in future a lot of incoming project of expanding the current Lrt & Mrt
Indonesia- 4 line 50 station , LRT 44km Jabodabek will complete 23 July 2023
Now , Bangkok metro have 11 lines = 215 stations
Soon Metro Manila Subway, MRT7, Makati subway, MRT4 and the NSCR line will be added and all of them will be operational by 2029.

If we compare number of ridership on ASEAN, Singapore and Jakarta will be on top with 2 and 1,5 million passenger daily
I've experienced riding the LRT in the Philippines. It's pretty crowded during the early mornings and evenings, but it isn't during the afternoons.
Its normal during rush hours
Of course it's rush hours hahahhaa.
The MRT Philippine Railways have all sorts of rail accidents. both on fire both crashed into the station Both trains collided with each other. and both often broken
Singapore and maleysia the Best
I love siemens and hyundai rotem train sets! 😍😍
Maybe next video , side by interior ❤❤❤❤❤.
Nice video I'm from singapore
I believe Malaysia is the best
i belive singapore and singapore north south line and east west line have new train, also singapore have new line but i accourate your choice
Yes, Malaysia is The Best, As An Indonesia, I can confirm Indonesian Train Is Faster And can Carry More Passanger, but Malaysia Train More New Safer And Cleaner, so Thats why Malaysia Train Is The Best
And I forgot, Malaysia Train Is The Futuristic One In Asean
Indonesia better and Malaysia with All asean😸
19:55 my home town Palembang, south Sumatra province, the first metro system' Indonesia before Jakarta 🇮🇩
Singapore MRT is the best in Southeast Asia with almost 200 stations and more than 30 years in operation.
Thailand mrt is popular
Malaysia MRT best in the world
I have to agree, because a successful system will have passengers, many of those videos show no signs of life, hence an unsuccessful system
@@SShiJie these videos (especially those in Singapore) are obviously taken during off-peak periods.
@@Enes-rx-7 how do you define popularity?
Bangkok MRT daily ridership: 470,000 in 2019
Singapore MRT daily ridership: 3.4 million in 2019
Just saying.
Keren dan bagus
Interesting that it's called North South line since there's yet official name for this MRT line in Jakarta. Coincidentally, if this track combined with the upcoming phase 2 stations, it is indeed connecting from north to south parts of Jakarta, making the track name oddly appropriate.
It does makes perfect sense if MRT Jakarta took inspirations from MRT Singapore, not just shares the final stop stations of the early phase 1 line takes both underground (Bundaran HI and Toa Payoh) and above (Lebak Bulus and Yio Chu Kang), even down to the strict rules of no eating and littering (there are no trashcans in the MRT Jakarta station unless you went into a toilet before the tapping zone). This proves once again that Singapore's MRT should be the standard of an appropriate train station.
I'm from Sri Lanka and I wish Colombo had at least one metro line.
I noticed that the Kuala Lumpur and Singapore metros are electrified via underground cabling. Unlike the other nations.
Thailand is not?
Thailand metro is electrified too
LOL Indonesia has it too! Wtf. The LRT in Palembang, LRT in Jakarta, and the LRT metropolitan Jakarta (Jabodebek) also have what you call "electrified underground cabling". Indonesia has it all.
Pffft commemt tertolol gk riset dlu
No? The Singapore MRT North East Line uses overhead wires with it's rolling stock of Alstom Metropolis trains
Even though I’m Filipino, I would say that trains in different countries are also good like the trains in the Philippines, now we have 13000 class in LRT 1
Really banking on what's in store for Manila these next few years
mrt line 7, NSCR airport railway, LRT-1 extension

Wow u know about all the city indonesian LRT/MRT
There will be new trains from singapore
cross island line
jurong region line COMING SOON
Those 3 new railway systems in Indonesia were built by one president in less than 10 years
and soon the highspeed train will be completed
Bangkok Metro fare is the most expensive in this region...
Would be cool if you added the transit map before or after each country, then it would be easy to visualise
P.S. I think the BTS rolling stocks and the MRT Kajan line look the coolest imo, very modern and sleek looking.
1:46 MRT Malaysia Kajang Line is so modern and futuristic 🤩
My son love mrt Putrajaya line
But no one can beat the low price of Indonesian Commuter Line which fare is only USD 33 cents...even if you take 100 km travel from Bogor to Cikarang or Rangkasbitung. The MRT fare is only USD 1.33 for the longest trip from Hotel Indonesia to Lebak Bulus. Longest LRT route in Jakarta as well as the Bullet Train from Jakarta-Bandung will be launched around June 2023...with fare of Economy class USD 8.33 and USD 16.66 for Luxury class...
Indon is cheap
Poor country
Fun Fact: The Philippine LRT 2 was designed to go up to 80 kmph and limit a capacity of half a million, sadly it operates as the 3rd most used line ever as of 2022 and due to lack of barriers the line itself can only go up to 40 - 50 kmph
Second fun fact: The MRT 3 remains the fastest of the Philippines reaching up to 70 kmph, and remains as the most used line in the country itself servimg bo more than 350,000 passengers daily even though the MRT 3 still uses old CKD Tatra LRVs from 1999
Sa pagitan daw ng Antipolo at Marikina-Pasig station minsan tumatakbo hanggang 80kph yung LRT 2. Sobra layo kasi tsaka bago yung platform 'di tulad sa original na walang harang sa kanan ahahaha katakot.
nice
Manila looked like Jakarta in the '90s, its Slum and its trains are noisy like Jakarta's trains early 2000s
Jakarta has still slums as same as Bangkok and Hanoi. Only Singapore and ko doesn't have slums
I also live in Puchong at 5:53
Need to include KL’s Komuter and ERL.
idk but i feel mrt in KL look handsome and cool
What the hack. As long as the service is available, reliable, on time, cheap, clean, safe, and good coverage of the entire city, that is good enough for the people.
Always support my country Indonesia ❤️
16:52 Českomoravska Kolben Danek - Tatra from Czech Republic 🇨🇿🇨🇿
Great public transportation system. No ridership. They should promote this more and lessen the use of cars. ASEAN keep on rising
I Love comuter Line Indonesia 🥰🥰
Negara ASEAN sekarang sudah sama-sama maju
ASEAN Maju Jaya
At least, I can say that my country's mass transit system is the most expensive compared to every other country in Southeast Asia. It's more expensive than the MRT in Singapore.
คนไทยแน่ๆ 555+
Bangkok? Yeah it cost a fortune to ride too, it is okay to ride alone but if travelling together with a group of family I think it would be cheaper to grab a cab.
This is cool, but you missed out a lot of lines in Bangkok. In addition to what you have included in your nice vdo, there are Airport line ( suvarnnabhumi airport) red line to Donmuang airport and light red line, mrt subway, Most of the lines have two to three extented lines, which are long long lines. Soon the monorail yellow line, and pink line.
Their criteria is metros only, so commuters are not counted (but they seem similar). The MRT is already in the video and thumbnail. See other video for all lines czcams.com/video/kiIFc7t3reg/video.html
Philippine trains are cool
All this dick measuring in the comments, honestly as a Singaporean, yes currently our system is king in ASEAN but if any other ASEAN country comes up with a better system i would be glad to learn from them.We as a region has so much potential together to Rival the great powers like China or USA if we work together. All this clashing of egos between us is counter-productive it only serve to get us laugh at by the rest of the world. Personally i rather not be laughed at.
Exactly, I see no point in this nonsense discussion ~ we as a region need to look at the positives from eachother and other countries around the world and implement them to improve our own systems. Funny analogy though, it really does feel like dick measuring ~ only, we're measuring micropenises to a slightly longer micropenis and bragging about it.
LRT-1 got its new makeover. However, MRT-3 came out after LRT-1 then followed by LRT-2. Tbh, the design of both MRT-3 and LRT-2 are still the same until now.
13:15 in Indonesia call it SkyTrain he uses tires
ASEAN soooo cool😎
I like the mrt 3 and monorail
I am in malaysia

New train malaysia(guys sorry) 2025 1march shan alam line lrt3
It’s unfortunate that Philippine Metro systems looks unclean compared to its rival tho being one of the first to have such a system in the region. Tho wished the new expansion like the MRT 7, Manila Subway, and maybe that monorail can change things for accessibility, capacity, and coverage. Though wished there’s newer Rolling stock for LRT 2 but hopefully the other two lines can finally add the new trains.
The LRT 1 uses different trainsets from many different generations. The LRT 2 however uses the same trainsets, but these trains continously go through many different upgrades from time to time.
The Philippines Metro system still remains as a disgrace compared to ASEAN. Still remains as a third world hellhole and hopeless cesspool of humanity.
