I do agree it was not a great performance compared to her other fights until the last few seconds she started piecing up santos. But can’t judge her off one fluke performance against an insanely tough challenger. I think it was better to see that against santos then to perform like that against grasso or Valentina in a title shot. She can easily change any holes she had in the fight but if she does it again then yea her stock will go down for sure

I thought it was a solid and dominant performance overall but I get you guys when you say that she couldn’t finish Rose at the end of the day. But remember that Rose is no joke, her footwork and distance management is one of the best in feminine MMA.

She wanted to fight Valentina from the beginning of her career. She is just being realistic that if Valentina was to win she probably won't be next.
Alexa is a tougher fight, Erin is always looking for the tougher fights, she only fought meatball and Aldritch cause the ufc offered her those bums
she just doesn't want to wait for the trilogy fight, that's like another 6 months
Erin just needs to polish her striking a bit. Her punches dont have much power required at the Champioship level. But man her ground game is so lethal. Once she gets her hands on anyone then more often than not it is game over.
I actually feel bad for Taila Santos who fought an incredible fight on her part. But the relentless agression of Erin was just too much for Taila.

@@PeterPiper777 He's got a point to be at the top you need to be super well rounded, I honestly dont see her beating Grasso or Shevchenko, Grasso's boxing is world class, Shevchenkos kickboxing is world class, and we've seen both of their ground games. I'm interested to see how well Grasso's wrestling has improved, I think she is Blancfields best hope for the belt.

Erin moves like a toddler and her technique is amateurish at times, particularly on the feet, and even with her wrestling and entrances. She has nothing to do against someone like Grasso right now, maybe in a couple years cause Erin is very young (in comparison to the rest of the division) and has a lot of improvements to make fight after fight
