Omg! I can't believe how much money you still have after buying and renovating your 2 houses !
Money still flowing ...you are so lucky xo
Oh my goodness. I get more fond of you two each time I watch. Love all the goodies. Charlie's new knife looks incredible and he'll put it to good use on all the roasts! YUM! C has become so comfortable in front of the camera. Such a joy to watch you both. Thanks for a lovely day out and a great shopping trip. xxx
Charlie is so kind to think of getting a gift for your Mom and his Dad and also his Nan.Love you two. Thank you both.đđ
That sofa you liked is called a Knole sofa. It is named for the house in Kent where it first appeared. Itâs originally from the 17th century. When I worked as an interior designer, I had the opportunity to include a Knole sofa in one of my designs. They are stunning. One would look perfect in your home.
Turning this video into a drinking game every time Charlie says âobviouslyâ and âgame changerâ!
"To be honest"!
Or Epic
obviously , it's all an epic game changer :D
I love you Josie, love your content and everything about your vlogs!!! Do not listen to any negative comments, you and Charlie have done soooo incredibly well for yourselves, congratulations xxxx keep it coming Josie â€ïžâ€ïž
Theyâre not meant to be negative comments. Weâre just having fun. Iâm a huge fan too.
Anyone else that is missing shopping trips? I only go to the market and drugstore.
During our 2 weeks of work during the heatwave we treated ourselves to a trip to a garden center.
Best day ever and yes we did got home with more then I expected.....the sale just started and we went all out.
The pink couch with the knobs is so lovely. I was sold the moment you said it could be turned into a day bed.
All the Christmas talk makes me so excited for your decorating the house vlogs and Christmas decorations hauls- I hope youâll do them!
Close to the end of the video when Josie folding up all the paper bags thatâs like myself doing the exact same thing while my family enjoyed what we have shopped. đđđ
I love the way Charlie looks at you! One blessed woman you are!
You get extra discounts if you register for Bicester's Privilege program đ I used to work for the company that's created their loyalty scheme and visited several of the other villages in the shopping collection đ
I know I shouldn't be so amazed but yesterday I watched your video about your evening pamper in which you mentioned using reusable cotton pads. Never did I know such a thing was available! I ordered them straight away & arrived home from work today to find them waiting for me at my front door. I blows my mind that I could be educated by someone living in the Cotswolds & 24hr later have the item I learned about in my hands. LOL, amazing. Thanks for helping me live just a bit more eco minded in such a simple way.
At the end just as Charlie got up to put his hand over the lens a non-skippable advert popped up but I sat through the whole thing just to see Charlie have his âhand over the cameraâ moment đ
đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđđœ
Omg I need a trip to Bicester Village after this.. although I could do with a slightly larger pay check as wellđđ€Ł To anyone else reading this.. HAPPY FRIDAYYYYY!! Itâs time to put your feet up Nd chill, we all deserve it!! Make sure to have a glass of something toođ I hope your are staying safe, and remember to keep smiling!! Lots of love, a small time CZcamsr trying to spread positivity â€ïž xxxx
I LOVE the pink sofa ! Not for the coach house, but for your big living room. Two of them with the darkwood, and two armchairs : it would be so gorgeous. The green furniture is too dark for this room, even if it is lovely. It would be better in the coach house.
You have really great taste for furniture !
I just love watching you both, I think you are leading at the moment being influences with your gardening and home decor
Cannot wait for more xx
I must comment on Charlie, a man who likes to shop and a thoughtful shopper at that, and to see a man who likes to vacuum! What a turn on! You two are just lovely đđ
So much love for you two! It's always such a treat to see Charlie being 'Charlie'! For example: His charming enthusiasm over cooking/culinary items, giving Dexter doggie kisses, his thoughtful caring when it comes to your welfare. He is a bit 'fiddly', but you knew that already, and of course, that's why you love him so! Again, love you two so much and looking forward to Charlie posting more CZcams videos (get on that, mate!)
Great shopping day , love the large wok .. I have a few pots that are 20 years now and worth every cent . Yes expensive but worth it . I never new they did the wok style shall look into it . My Mums collections has been around for about 52 years and still used daily . She has the original red/orange colour they bought out . So gorgeous.
Hi Josie and Charlie...love you both.. that's a perfect partnership that you both share...lots of wishes and keep going đ
As far as I can see, the knife is made âDamaszenerâ style. The pattern is created by multiple rounds of folding the hot metal to make it more durable. Beautiful piece, enjoy it! Lovely vlog as usual by the way â€ïž
I have to say. I really do appreciate the way you engage with your community under your videos. How you like and comment so many comments is impressive and not seen very often on this platform â„ïž
And to clean LC is so easy! Mine had lasted for approx. 15 years so far and they get better with age! Mine have seamless handles which is so easy! Beautiful items you both found! All the best!!
âGood Morning my darlings!!! â Love to hear that! Good morning Josie đ
love love love the idea that your mom is going to live in the coach house! it is so good to be close to each other and can take care of each other
So fun to watch. Happy for you both. Having so much fun.
Great video. I loved seeing all the shops. Thank you for taking us along. Looking forward to your Christmas decorating. I know thereâs more to do before that happens. So exciting.
Josie thank you and Charlie taking us to So ho home & other shops. Itâs so refreshing seeing you too together. Canât wait until next vlog.
Very much enjoy watching you. Your youth and love of beautiful things from your home to your amazing dresses. And am also a bare minerals fan for many years now. In fact just bought a lipstick after watching you. I am 72 and have always from my twenties taken care of my skin. I only want to give you a loving suggestion. When you are applying all the serums creams and oils to your face donât neglect your neck. It is lovely now and and very firm. Believe me at my age you will happy for the day you decided your neck was also part of your face. My upper chest and neck have always been cared for as part of my face. Love your videos and enjoy your blossoming life.
Charlie, the pan handle covers are an amazing find , that's one for my list . Then the knife this is on my wish list , it's beautiful.
Oh my gosh Josie the anti bac face mist , that's a gift for everyone perfect and love that is refillable.
Really enjoyed this trip even though I wasn't shopping, not having bags in the way is a game changer as Charlie would say , thanks for taking us along with you both.
Please give the boys a huge hug . Stay safe stay well xxxx
Loving This Vlog Josie!! Perfect as Always!! Sending Much Love!!
Dear Josie,I think Charlie might be the perfect man...he is an amazing cook ,he loves gardening and he loves shopping..and he loves dogs .lol
Ah, I miss shopping trips! But then I think of all the money I am saving since being in lockdown đ
Omg I missed it!!!
Josie, what a lovely shop... also we had an orangery at our last house, here we have a conservatory, and I miss having the flat roof... what a glorious time you had
I'm was really taken back about the lamp shade over 100 pounds... I'm sorry but soho home is really over priced. Also, it would be good to know if the all purchase were done on your own money or credit from Bicester from the work you did with them. I would appreciate full disclosure.
Just a note about lampshades - a good fabric one, in that size can be hundreds in silk. Here in Australia a shade that size in polyester fabric can be over $200 AUD and that's not pleated. For a printed silk shade in that size, almost the same fabric in silk is $353.50 AUD /195.00 GBP + delivery. Lampshades are expensive
Agreed, full disclosure please. Are we watching a 35 minute commercial?
The video title states itâs an Ad. Itâs for beauty kitchen and Bicester / Soho Home. The Soho Home piece was also on Instagram as an ad.
Annmarie Sproule thank you, if you watch the video from your phone, or at least mine the full tagline does not pull up. I did not see that it was an ad.. Had I seen it I would not have watch the video. But I also would not have made that comment so thank you
I must be totally naive but what is this about? âIf it was an ad I wouldnât have watched itâ. âFull disclosure pleaseâ. Iâve seen this mentioned before but honestly donât get it. Either I want to watch the channel or I donât. If I want to purchase something Josie has shown us I will (and have, by the way). I just donât feel itâs necessary to know or any of my business. Can someone please explain what this is all about? Thank you
I love Charlie, he's such a nice guy and always has an interesting story to tell. Lovely vlog Josie! x đ
Oh boy! What a day shopping. Take me with you!đ€ What a lovely shopping area.
So many beautiful things. You n Charlie did very well with your purchases . What a fun day. Be safe n well â€ïž
Now that was a Homeware Haul ! Wonderful things ! Think you may have left my favourite thing in the shop , the stunning pink winged sofa ! Wow â„ïžâ„ïžâ„ïžâ„ïž
I lived vicariously through your shopping... it was so fun !!!! Thank you
Fantastic video thank you for sharing all the beautiful things you bought
Thank you for sharing you bought some lovely items
So many of my favorite brands, I would lose my mind. You got some great deals there. So glad you picked up the SoHo table. That sofa - WOW!
I love the Miyabi knife you got. They are a Japanese knife that is forged the same way samurai swords used to be made! Lovely â€ïž
Enjoyed every minute of this vlog...you two are â€â€. I love your shopping trips đ
Hi Josie and Charlie absolutely enjoyed watching every part of this vlog. You both got some fabulous things, and you both are so generous buying gifts for people. Love that coffee table and the legs on it are fabulous. I honestly can't wait to be able to get out and go for lunch and shopping it's something l love. Thankyou both for a lovely day. Much love xxxx
HiJosie and Charlie, thanks for all your inspiering videos, Kisses from Barcelonađđ
Thanks for taking us with you. It will look magical during the holidays...
That is a high temperature knob from le creuset. I have one on my Dutch oven so that I can make authentic rustic French bread in my oven.
OMG I fell in love with the camel Chloe bag. Alot of beautiful purchases you made in your haul.
Thanks for bringing us along on your shopping trip to Bicester Village! Would love to visit there personally, one day!
Iâve not been to Bicester village for ages. Need to go now - so many lovely purchases! Christmas at yours would be so magical xx
I really like this quilted jackets ... especially in dusky pink ...
The bag of Emma Bridgewater is so nice.
Bacteria aren't bad, a lot of them actually contribute to your skin health. Also, a question I always want to ask about anti bacterial claims is: they say it kills 99.5 percent of bacteria. Is that 99.5 percent of the individual kinds of bacteria families, or 99.5 percent of all bacteria on your skin in total no matter what kind (which is quite an unrealistic claim if you look at it from a chemical perspective..). Either way it's not what you might think. If it kills 99.5% of the kinds of bacteria, it doesn't mean it kills the correct bacteria, neither does it mean it kills most individual bacteria.
Also people that want to buy this because of Corona virus: a virus is not a bacterium and anti bacterial stuff doesn't help against the virus. Just FYI.
Greatly appreciate your knowledge and sharing it with this community. Thank you so much, and enjoy the remaining weeks of summer.
Heya, just to confirm, corona virus has a little coat on it that disintegrates in detergent, so any soap does work against it :) (from a biology teacher :P) But yes you're right, not all bacteria are bad xx
I was also wondering when a product saying its anti bacteria or kills bacteria, does it mean alcohol content is high? Why would you spray so much alcohol on your face? And if not for alcohol, how effective is it when you compare with the standard of "sanitizing" these days? I'm really angry when seeing all these products out in the market trying to make corona money. Just stay with the wipes and sanitizers and stop touching your face so much and use proper protection.
Thanks for including this comment. Just a few basic points I'm adding to this:
- Yeah, antibacterial means nothing for viruses. And we need the right mix of bacteria flora on our skin to protect it. That face mist is a gimmick.
- Killing 99.5% of bacteria just leaves the strongest .05% behind to grow.
- Different microorganisms' (regardless of whether it's a virus or bacteria) protective walls are destroyed by differing levels of alcohol content. So while it sounds like more alcohol content is better, that's not always the case.
- Repeat point: soap weakens the protective wall of Covid-19, while the mechanical rubbing of actual hand washing breaks it down by tearing it apart and the rubbing sloths it off your hands which is why hand washing and why using alcohol sanitizer with rubbing it in matters so much.
From a healthcare student who took microbiology as the pandemic developed.
@@nataliebotzang6327 and @Emilia Wright
VERY good point about leaving the strongest 0.05 bacteria to grow. I forgot about that for a second (the same problem we have with people not finishing their antibiotics prescription to the end, of course).
And the rubbing point is a fun story indeed if you look at this product: so if you just spray the face mist on (which is probably not a lot that ends up on your face to start with), without like, rubbing it into your face, it would have minimal effect anyway.
The texture on the knife is the result of hammering the steel :) sign of great quality
Atara Hiller , I have to say that I never heard anyone say they were â lusting after a knifeâ ! However it is true one needs to get the best quality one could afford for knives! They will then last a lifetime.
Always excited to watch your video đ
You two are adorable, and genuinely in love with each other.
Both of you are awesome đ that's why I love to watching your video.đ and nice shopping too. đ
Love the pink couch with the knobs and the green chair for the office !!
I agree, the pink sofa was wonderful. It is actually called a knowle sofa - very traditional & timeless.
What a fun and productive day for you! Thank you so much for taking us along with you. Everything looks so lovely!
That Miyabi knife is one of my favorites! Itâs held up beautifully over the years. Miyabi knives are worth the investment for a culinary lover!
Lovely vlog you bought some beautiful items x
Charlie is a lovely guy. Very nice of him to have your mother to live nearby. I hope my son in law will be the same in 5 yrs time.

Thank you Josie, your videos are so lovely and refreshing and especially when I am having a hard day, they are such a relief!!đđ
I was going to try Bicester last week but my friend fancied Gun Wharf Key in Portsmouth instead had a great day but will do Bicester on another day as it looks so lovely and I really want to go - wow the hands free shopping sounds just the job! Thank you for taking us with you Josie and Charlie xx
Wish I could shop with you it looked amazing but surely it is a crĂȘpe not crap

Really enjoyed this video!!! I miss spending the day in Bicester village! Great buys! Xx
Haven't even started watching but just sat outside with a view of the mountains, some fresh figs and the Mediterranean air so this video will be greatly enjoyed! Also can't wait for the wardrobe reveal. Hope all progress is going wellđ€
@Elaine O'brien đâșâșâș
How lovely!
OMG your view sounds breathtaking, thank you for sharing xx đ€
@@MissAnatance aw thank you.đ
I have really enjoyed your background music and the volume levels recently, I like how I can make sure to hear you over the music when it overlaps! Love the video, such great home inspiration đ canât wait for fall fashion inspiration! Looking to make mid investment pieces of my own:)
Such a great treasure haul.......... Cast iron cooking implements do make such a difference........ By the way young Dickie is so relaxed in his favourite spot. Gosh Christmas really is just around the corner is it not....... I do so hope that you can all have a fabulous Christmas together.........
Wow that was a big shop... I love Banford we have some in all of our bathrooms and kitchen
Thought the lampshade too expensive and also old fashioned. Would love to visit Bister Village but as i live in Spain its difficult to get there
Lovely to see Beauty Kitchen products featured! They have been staples in my skincare regimen for years but I havenât tried the shield spray yet. Their night halo mask is lovely when you need a real moisture surge and the 60 second manicure is great too.
Oh amazing Iâll try that!
Wonderful shopping day đž
I loved this vicarious shopping. Enjoyed the outing, the views of the merchandise, and the display of everything at the end.
Love this vid Josie! Beauty Kitchen sounds like a brilliant brand - thank you for intriducing us to ethical brands that don't cost the earth (s'cuse the pun). I used to shop at Bicester when we lived in the UK. That hands free shopping idea sounds lethal!!! Xx
When you use hyaluronic acid you should put moisturizer right on top immediately after because hyaluronic acid isnât technically a good moisturizer it actually just makes your skin appear moisturized, but if you put moisturizer immediately after it âlocksâ it in!
I wonder if trying new free facial products all the time, swapping and changing, contributes to the skin problems you often talk about?
I wonder how is it that they have so much money to be constantly buying amazing stuff? Not judging, nor criticizing. It's an honest question
Yea I thought the same! At the beginning she always said like when they were moving that they now dont have that money anymore because of the castle they bought and she was shopping and shopping and shopping like crazy beautiful und expensive stuff .. like what is not that much money anymore to her? đđđ€ oh well
Paid in products sent to them vis-a-vis advertising brand names.
I think it might be vouchers. But she's not really clear about it. If I had a house like that and has money to spend, I would be looking for furniture and not kitchen utensils and stuff that I don't need urgently.
They are not the only ones able to still shop regularly, there are several people who are still financially buoyant despite the season. I wouldn't mind if Josie could do a video on that topic and share some advice with us :) In the meantime, I would recommend watching Patricia Bright's business channel "The Break", she shares a lot of great business tips: czcams.com/channels/9c80wcPsvmosqUtk7MNbmw.html
@@djshockafrica4330 I love love The Break and how transparent Patricia is đ
â€ïž My favorite kind of shopping spree is where I watch others go shopping!đ That shopping village looks amazing- wish I was over there!
Enjoy your pamper day Josie.
Josie, you passed on the Chloe bags? I never could have had such will power. The slides 1/2 off? Oh Iâm so envious!
I wish i could shop there. I loved the fun music. I just really enjoy Charlie in the videos. đ
So enjoyed your shopping day. Thanks for taking me alongâŁïž Also, please list the mascara websight please.

Your so humble and kind â€ïž love your introduction and love you
I loved the vlog so much
I like Charlieâs positivity re covid xx
Always nice and exciting to watch what Josie & Charlie buy for homeware! Too bad my area doesnât have soho home.... am surprised and so happy you got a Miyabi knife, itâs an authentic Japanese traditional skill of knife making! Itâs so amazing for craving beef into slices and fish slices for sushi is so smooth.... one quick tip I found from other users is that the base of the knife handle is flat, is very useful to use as a quick pound on garlic or chopping vegetables or lemongrass. LOL
Josie darling âïž layering rugs/carpets is almost as old as time... It's just a matter of taste... When we're open to information it finds it's way inđđŸđ€đ
All these glasses etc.. you will get as wedding presents one day...if you do a list...wedding quests will need to get you something....
Yâall are busy Christmas and Boxing Day, so Iâll come for New Years! I wish. Yâall are great to host such a crowd! We do Christmas at my Daddyâs, my sister brings ham and her Mother in laws ham sauce, plus she does green beans. We bring desert, always purchased because I donât cook since I have cognitive impairment and have left the stove on. Itâs great for everyone to chip in. Daddy will be87 this November, and I always worry he wonât be here long. Having family get togethers is so important.
Beautiful traditions đ
God has brought your Daddy this far, he may surprise you and live past 100! Celebrate him always, God has blessed him with a long life! ;)
Oh! The Miyabi Birchwood knives are fabulous. I highly recommend Japanese knives. They are so sharp and they hold an edge for a long time. Aesthetically, they are stunning too. đđ»
