So sad watching young people straggling.
Hope this government will soon go and things start getting better for you neighbors 🇬🇷🇹🇷
Thank you Kostas! Your are real neighbour!
End of day what we fight each other, Greece are real friends of turkey.
As a Turk I love Greece, because we are actually same nation just different country.
And as a young turk from turkey, we are experiencing same things to Greek youngs, both are poor and both are don't love elder people(nationalist people).
@@metehanakar0 I think new Greek generation has better potential as Greece is out of the financial crisis when Turkey is just in.
Greek minimum salary is 600€(700usd) when Turkey minimum salary is 3.000l(180usd).
Let's hope Turkish government will stop spending billions on weapons, and Erdogan family leisure and spend them for the good of Turkish people.
Turks don't want to fight wars miles away from their home for no reason(Lybia).
They just want a better future for them and their families.
@@kostasv3430 1 week ago our minimum wage was 300 euro, Boomer governments saying to "old days more worst then now" most of akp(Erdogan) voters are boomer and most of doesn't went to school. I don't care what they say but I know they will lose course in turkey hight population is new generation Z, they have %17 vote change.
If Turkeys currency keeps inflating like ti's, it will turn into the film "Euro Trip" and Uptin will become a billionaire.
Damn as a Kashmiri who's middle class, I feel it's cheaper than Kashmir.
@@maxpayne3628 no it is not.
@@coolfeeling4344 true seemed around 2 to 2.5e times more expensive then here
We traveled Europe on 5£ a day longtime back. So 30£ sounds normal for today s price for Pounders.
That scene with the coin is legendary
I visited Istanbul a month ago. This city and the people there are amazing.
Evtino li beshe?
How much money did you have with you?
Your packet was full of money. If you go without money you will find out.
@@akdanazh i think you should at least have 30 dollars a day not including hôtel or place you Stay in
Those are mussels at 5:00, much cheaper than oysters.
And mussels are way higher in nutrients than oysters. Good they are cheaper.
uff 30$ , that's senior engineer salary
Lmao

Big brother is watching, if i criticize the MAN, i'll be in the jail so u should understand we are done .. last ten years whats done is done :)
That too, he didn't count accomodation!
Amazing city. I'd lived there for almost five years until 2018. Back then one dollar exchanged for 2 - 3 liras, but now 13 liras. I guess I could get very good bargains now if going back
Bargains? is it poosible? I call it cheating for visitors.. if it happens😅
Dude when currency go down prices go up.
You will get the same stuff in 30$ now ,just like 5 years ago, however prices in lira will be higher but same in $.
@@nomorenews you need to learn your ABC
@@beachboy13600 I know my ABC,won't you learn your ABC
Since turkey import almost everything. Prices go up and what ever priced at XX Lira would now cost XY Lira.. so basically its the same.
Turkey has always been some of my favorite place to go on vacation to. So much good night life and good food.
You guys can come to İstanbul and spend your day like kings since lira's value has plummeted 1 to 13 against dollar. The city has lots of places to travel. Spend your money with joy and make a contribution to our economy, win-win.

1TL=19,2€. In less than a month we will be able to buy the whole city for 100€ 👍😂
@@giorgosk.8358 Lol it turned out like Road Trip movie.
try to survive a month with minimum wage . that would be interesting

But Erdogan is a fool running this great country into a 3rd world.
Youre riggt about it yes turkey is incredible but not on economy vision
It's cool review uptin...this make me want to visit turkey sooooon
Happy to hear that Lena!
You should come to Bulgaria. I recommend visiting Plovdiv, the second largest city in the country and sixth oldest living city in the world. I think 30 dollars will be a perfect budget for a day here.
Stop destroying one of my last cheap holiday destinations plz!

Thanks so much! I have a few other videos about turkey on my channel, check them out!
they sold you many things expensive because you are a tourist. normally cheaper
Umm i don't think so, i always had my local friend with me and the prices were always written everywhere
@@uptin Bro 25tl for pomegranate juice is definitely too much lol but it's just cause you were in a touristic area. You weren't scammed, everything's just expensive there

Loved this episode ! You should definitely give Algeria a try! It is way more cheaper and here and there's a lot discover around the country in terms of culture, cuisine and heritage as well!
Would love to but getting visa to Algeria is so tricky n lengthy that people prefer going tunisia instead
I'd love to go!
@@kieranp4195 it had become much easier to obtain nowadays.

How about terrorism threat?
05:00 These are usual mussles, not oysters. They are growing and farming easily anywhere at the mediterranean and are usually cheap allmost anywhere.
Also the production process especially in turkey. You really don't want to know how they are producing them. Often in dirty basements and old toilets and bathrooms.
Bon appetite :-)
Yeah i was thinking this as well, looked like a mussel not an oyster!!. As nice as he seems this guy is an idiot unfortunately. Also spending almost a weeks wages on a breakfast, half of turkey will be laughing about too I'm sure
Those oysters + lemon are amazing. did you see any corn on the cob there? Nice vid.
Yes lots of these too! Thanks
its mussels mate
Great Video, Great country 🙂👍
Good time for a visit👍👍
Of coming from an hot country which months are best to visit turkey? Does turkey have raining season?

Mr. Uptin, I believe those are mussels you are enjoying. Stay safe....
Hope to see you visit my hometown, Mangalore in India soon ❤️🇮🇳
I like your videos keep it up
Thanks Resul!
What about clothes and shoes...is it worth going there to stock up considering the price of their currency
still getting a lot of mileage for $30. you should compare this exactly with $30 in usa & see what you get there!
pomegranate juice looks really good! That looks like a very healthy and delicious drink. yum!
i agree!
$30 is a good amount to begin with, if you are outside the US.
Uptin, how does having a audio room in clubhouse with all popular travelers including you sound like ? Maybe it would be fun to share raw experiences with people
They don’t sing brother azaan is calling people to pray not singing ❤️🙏🏾
You didn’t have oysters btw. What you appears to be midye (stuffed mussels and rice)
I wish I knew about the baklava burger when I visited. I need to make another trip.
haha okay and lmk if u like it
Thks for the info.... visiting Istanbul 2 wks time
Anymore I have to go abroad and I never don't want to back because other countries offers a wide range of facilities to students but we have to live with 60 Dollars at ONE MONTH. Is there any people to change country with me ?( I am sorry because of bad English. I try to learn it)
Got me Excited to visit turkey
Dolarla yaşayan tüm insanların salyaları akmış videoya. Haklısınız ne diyeyim 🤷🏻♀️
How widely is English spoken in Istanbul? Can you get by speaking English, or other major Western European language? I’d love to visit but the language barrier is daunting.
In small cities of Turkey, the number of people who speak English is small, but you can easily find people who can speak English in Istanbul. Even if you can't find it, when you ask for help, people will gladly help you and you can tell your problem. So language is not a barrier
Reminds me sm of lebanon currently
turkey isn't to resemble lebanon
Welcome to Turkey
Do I need to be quarantined when I visit Turkey? Also, how bad is the pandemic over there? Thanks in advance for answering my questions ☺️
It is pretty bad, but people don't care. Will have to live through this or hit dark ages.
No quarantine needed. As long as you show PCR test you’re good to go!
pandemic is okay here . We live our daily lives without any restrictions.
Ben türkiyede yaşıyorum rahatça gelebilirsinizz
@@richardv9648 hayır oldukça kötü değil.
That’s a mussel not an oyster
Baklava is Greek in Greece, Turkish in Turkey and Lebanese in Lebanon. Same goes with Greek coffee.
True! And yesterday I had Israeli baklava at a restaurant in the US. Any way, it’s soooo good.
Hopefully I will visit soon...
Highly recommended
In Jordan Pomegranate cost 0,5 JD maybe 1 JD = 1.4 USD.
“Baklava is a Greek-“
Alright I think you triggered most of the Turks here
You know pistachio hahaha Baklava is Turkish this is clear
Is it going to be cheaper to visit Turkey now that the currency has crashed? Or are the prices just going to be higher?
If you have US dollars then yes it's cheaper.
İm from turkey and i born in istanbul, i love this city
10$ for breakfast come on mann, its tourist trap, a few bucks enough to eat well
Is anyone from Turkey can confirm this ?
@1:14 Cost $10 = 100-120 lira. I've spend 5 days in Istanbul in 2019l, never had I had a meal as expensive as that.
@1:28 Cost $2 = 20-24 Lira, just for that ?
So basically all the price in Turkey had increase ??? That's a huge difference
Dude I just wanna hangout with you when you are here will you arrange any kind of fan meeting? Or we can grab a cofee sometime maybe?
Thats like 2.4k indian rupees and i can have lavish food and entertainment under 1k rupees that is 13 dollars.
Is there some alternative food for vegetarians
Hello uptin. You should add watermark to your videos. Because your video was posted yesterday, and no one gave you Credit.
thanks for telling me!
Homemade food for 6$ !? That is crazy...
Really went all out on the breakfast when it costed 1/3 of the entire budget lol.
But i swear it was worth it😫
correction : mussels not oysters :) mussel is midye and oyster is istiridye
I use about 1.5 dollars on a good day in South Africa
Edhan is not singing 😄
Anyway, good video 👍
wow 30 dollars, you can do 3 minutes with that in the Bay area
by December 19 its "$20 Day in Turkey"
So is the lira crashing make it cheaper for us travelers
only weekly shooping costs 60$
1:49 it’s like 70%
Is that breakfast really $10? you have been fooled my friend
1:49 %89*
I really appreciate what you said at 3:16 because many countries try to claim ownership of something that existed before the country itself.
It may have been cheap when this video was filmed, but everything into including food has gone up by at least 44% since 1 year ago
when someone say desert in turkey: ?!? :D ?!?
10 dollars for a breakfast ? that's a lot
It was cheaper than that outside of Istanbul
But how did you get around? I mean do people speak English? Or do you speak Turkish?
Fantastic. Those aren't oysters, though. They're mussels
Nice video thank you. Fyi the azaan or Adhan is a "call to prayer" and its not singing....its a call
I legit don't understand how he survives in Istanbul. I heard no one speaks English there. Maybe tourist areas but that's it. Foreign people all struggle there with communication
This is totally prejudice. In small cities of Turkey, few people speak English, but many people in Istanbul do. When they don't know, they will understand your problem and help you, don't be afraid. In very difficult situations, google translate will do the trick haha
Amazing city, top the world.
Bro those are not oyster ..... Those are mussel
Very nice
Last meat you ate I think were mussels
Hey! I am a journalist living in Istanbul. Would love to meet, how can we get in touch?
Wow 30 turkish lira is about 2 usd. He went for a day for about $2.
Prices are expensive because the places where they eat are usually where tourists go. normally you can't finish that money
Why not trying this in Lahore or islamabad....you can feed yourself for month with this amount of money😊😊😊😊😊?
Update: now kfc in turkiye is generally cheaper than in indonesia, i think its just blow my mind
Good to see that you eat a lot
LMAO yeah it looks like a lot when i put what i ate through the day in a 5 min video
Very soon $1 = 20 Lira
I love how British tourists can easily enjoy hanging out at a place and drink & eat stuff without a care in the world where I can't even imagine walking by... I am not angry at anyone because we are past that. I try to get hyped to work harder instead
Can not imagine the people who live in rural
Probably not affected too much especially if they grow their own food.
And than he slept in the park as he forgot to pay the hotel 🤣
ahhahahahhahahahhahahahahhahahahahhaa omg i laugh at the baklava joke aa loooot ahhahahahahhaha

for you 30 dolar is so much like 300 tl on us
