Before Omah Lay was Apple’s New Music Artiste of the Month in June 2020 at the age of 22.
Before being celebrated by the BET as the Amplified International Artiste of the month.
Before he was nominated in 4 categories for the Headies awards 2020, one in which he won.
Omah Lay started out as an unknown rapper going by the stage name Lil King. He later moved on to songwriting and music production but he felt he was not getting enough credit for his work and as a result of that he decided to sing,produce and perform his own music.
What could he have done if not music, he says he would have become a pastor.
