  • We take to Sydney Motorsport Park for our first local drive of Mercedes-AMG’s monster plug-in hybrid 👉 Full Review: www.carsales.com.au/editorial...
The 2023 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance isn’t just the most powerful series production car AMG has ever built, it’s one of the most powerful cars on sale full stop.
Thanks to the addition of a plug-in hybrid system to partner the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, the GT 63 S E Performance now produces 620kW/1400Nm, enough to shift this luxury limo to 100km/h in 2.9sec.
We hit the track at Sydney Motorsport Park to sample this electrically-assisted speed and get our head around this $400,000 monster.

Excellent 4 door streamlined coupe than a solid sedan as boring family car.

The thing laps the nordschleife as fast as a huracan performante.
