When this project was launched years ago, I said to myself I’ll come back when its completed or I see some evidence of progress”.I know Nigeria too well, I’m not surprised. In better news at least they made good progress with railway lines. But this one is a joke. People were so quick to be shouting the next Dubai and posting everywhere, even getting foreigners to react on CZcams channels now it’s embarrassing kinda. Look forward to hearing what has happened.

The first things that should have been built are commercial high rise buildings for businesses to move their headquarters then residential demand will explode. Why build condo towers when there is not much else going on. Don’t compare to a modern city like Dubai until u can provide world class amenities such as rail line that transports citizens from business districts to residential areas

Maybe they can't go close to construction sites
Because I've been looking for videos on other buildings apart from this
That under construction building that's on the 5th floor is phoenix tower, right in front of it is phoenix rising bit they're currently on the ground floor and Infront of that is Emmanuel chapel and there are currently different projects under construction like a&a tower
I just hope construction keeps going

The idea here remains futuristic. For the Nigerian 200 million population, the ruiners (YES ruiners!) of the Nation should get basic amenities available first by fixing the roads, generate, distribute and supply electricity, water and medical facilities to all citizens- then you can talk of this kind of megaproject. "Lori-iro" (Lies, lies, lies); we like to delude ourselves!

Many investors prefer dealing with real estate companies than customary or individual land owners ,while this might appear to be true, unfortunately, I have discovered that many real estate developers are worse and some of them are into land banking investment scam or what I can called ‘corporate scam’.
First of all, it is important to define what land banking is in general terms. It is the process of buying and holding (banking) land for development and sale. In other words, it is a real estate investment scheme that involves buying large expanse of undeveloped land and dividing it into plots for sale. It usually involves holding the land until the price goes up considerably in value before selling it. Many self-made billionaires have made fortunes using this business model and for this reason many people are going into real estate business without adequate knowledge. Unfortunately, at present in Lagos State, these schemes are often unregulated and there is little or no protection for you if something goes wrong.

We have so many illiterate graduates in Nigeria. Why don't you go and buy it and build it? We always think things work like magic for Africans. All African problems are facing the same called funding and investors, check out another similar project in Africa and you will notice they are all facing similar problems.
