We have this van and are really really happy with it, for the length of it it feels so spacious inside, easy to drive down tiny roads and just a really lovely comfortable place to hang out and watch telly if its raining! We have used it a lot in the pandemic just having nice day trips out with cups of tea on tap :) We also have 3 dogs and we manage fine for space, the twisting front seats also a massive plus when we have a van full of family!
What is the power grid like in your van? Is there any solar panel install? Generator? How does the fridge run while you are driving? Do you need a campground to have power?
A while ago I was planning to get a motorhome for myself. I was looking for a bed and shower big enough for my >1,9 m - and that eliminates 90% of the models. It is unbelievable. This layout (it is identical to the Challenger 260) is absolutely perfect. The shower is big enough and the bed fits a standard square mattress with enough space to fit in perfectly. One thing you forgot, there is storage space behind the mirror in the bathroom and a door to the garage.
Very cute and well organised RV... My daughter loves your SHORT and CRISP tours.. No wasting time, no unnecessary info!! Awesome, we both enjoyed.. She says, "Tell him to make more videos like this".. Hahaha.. :D
I think this is the best layout for this sized vehicle I've seen. Excellent use of space. I noticed that there was a door in the bathroom that accessed the rear storage space which could be very handy. Enjoyed this one. Thank you. 😁
Ahhh, I like your reviews but on this you missed the most important bit within the habitation area, namely that there are no overhead lockers above the seats! So, where do you keep your clothes - and therein lies the secret sauce to this van, there's a huge wardrobe above the garage accessible from the washroom. The lack of lockers increases the sense of space and it means the dropdown bad can be lowered right down, far enough that you can just step into it. Another unusual thing about this van is that the space heating is diesel powered, which means they've been able to reduce the size of the gas bottle locker which can only hold a 6 or 7 g bottle.
Thanks for another one of your excellent tours. I was so impressed with this design my wife and I have bitten the bullet and bought one. 630 actually which has the twin beds. Thanks for your help with your really informative tours.😊
The garage just screams "portable outdoor theatre" to me (literally pack all the frames, screen, speakers and projector in there with some director's chairs). Awesome find, Nick!
Nick: Curious where these are made. Unusual to find the entry door on the same side as the driver station. Also, it appears that the rear storage area can be accessed from the bathroom.
And finally something other than on an anemic 140 HP Fiat Chassis. Still needing a bit more umf for North American driving though. It is nice & practical & good review Nick....shore power & all.
I LOVE this campervan so much... The bathroom area is the main selling point for me it adds another dimension of luxury and comfort!! I can't stand wetrooms...
Lol. Shore power🙈. Great tour Nick. Absolutely love the interior of this, it’s similar to the new hobby’s and LMC trailers. Have looked at Hobby Motorhomes and trailers? Miles ahead of most others especially uk brands.
I do worry about you sometimes as you seem to get mixed up if your on a boat or in a motorhome 🤣 But keep doing the reviews as they are always very informative 👍👏
There's a large chunk of space inside the van which didn't get explained there. Normally the space above the rear storage area/garage is taken up by the bed but on this van you have the bathroom, the rear wall of which is the front wall of the storage area. Part of the storage area is full height, but most of it isn't. What is in that large chunk above the storage area and aft of the bathroom?
I have the twin bed 630 on an auto Ford which is fantastic and get 30mpg. A review of this model might be nice so you can include the enormous wardrobe. So easy to drive - you’ve just got to make sure the Ford engine injectors are ok! A Fiat option is also available.
Wait!! What is located above the pass through in the back? The bathroom seems to end even, but the back area accessed from outside looks to have a large area above it? Why!!
You cannot beat Euro RVs for ergonomics. You folks are light years ahead of the clunky US models. I wish we had similar lift beds or swing down beds in our RVs. Very cool. Bathrooms are better, and kitchen appliances are more modern and functional, and very good styling. The problem I have with these tours like yours is that you never cover the power grid. Is there solar installed? Generator? Inverter? Does the fridge work off the solar or needs a campground to plug into. If the latter, it is useless. Please make real reviews not infomercials. A review is when you talk about pros and CONS too. Not just praise the RV and ignore the shortcomings.
Is there a horsepower limitation on vehicles in Europe? In the states, this thing would have no less than 300 hp. I just find this difference to be odd.
Europeans: "this is quite big at 7 metres, chunky.." Americans: "this 35 feet (10.6m) RV is sooo cute, sooo SMALL..." Brazilians (me): "I wish I had any one of those.." hahaha! Cheers!
@@MOTAHOLIC I know, I was just pointing out how much motorhomes have increased in price even in the last couple of years. For the last 45 years that I have been involved with motorhomes I have always said that a motorhome is a lot cheaper to buy and run than a car.
"Thats where you plug the shore power"
Never change Nick 👍
I mean, technically, it is shore power. ;)
@@grondhero indeed, it is called shore power by many RVers
Fantastic. The full width bathroom is the stand out feature for me.
Bathroom is too big. Should use the shower room for storage instead

I like how simple innovations can really make a vehicle stand out.
Hi Nick. That's a lovely interior. Big enough, drop down bed and garage space. Great video thanks 😊 keep on trucking.
Best one to date - great flexible layout and really nice decor.
Very cute and well organised RV... My daughter loves your SHORT and CRISP tours.. No wasting time, no unnecessary info!! Awesome, we both enjoyed.. She says, "Tell him to make more videos like this".. Hahaha.. :D
Awesome! Thank you!
Sold. Love everything about this one. Thank you Nick.

Still, thumbs up! And I did consider this van seriously when I was renewing mine a few months ago.
Go to the bathroom. open the mirror doors. massive hanging/ shelf space
Shore power ? LOL. You can take the man away from boating but you can't take boating away from the man. Another nice tour Nick.
lets give it up for nick, he is always so positive and knows his shit.
Very good make i had one years ago, bought it secondhand best motorhome I ever had.
That is just about perfect. No wasted day space with a fixed bed and a bathroom that you CAN swing a cat in.
Good Little Videos Short but sweet With all the Info.

Awesome! Have fun with it 🙂
My kind of camper van, it even comes with a spare battery between the two front seats. 😂
Thanks for another great review video Nick. 👌👍
Very nice, like the colour scheme, light and bright 👍🏻
A Phenomenal MotorHome All The Best.
I like the layout Nick, your usual high standard of presentation.
Thank you kindly
Nice very very nice. Rear full width bathroom brilliant. Really enjoy your video's 👍
Thank you so much 😀
I absolutely love separate showers. Hate the idea of Fokker getting wet etc. loads of room. No compromise. Great van. Can see why they sell plenty.
Best one yet. Now I just need to win the lotto
I love chaussons my nan and grandad have this exact model and we go away In it in the summer. Also love your videos😁👍
Cool, thanks
One of the better motor homes nick…great tour as usual..
Glad you enjoyed it
Impressive 😊. Seems great value, plus Auto and 170Bhp. Love the expansive storage area at the rear and the great washroom and separate shower.
Another Aquaholics reference to “shore power”. Love it 😊👍
For the size and what it has to offer i can see why it's a popular buy and for the size of the vehicle it's very impressive .

Chausson and Challenger belong to French group Trigano.
Beautiful camper and good video nick 👍👍👍👍👍🚐
Great looking van , may have a word with the bank manager .

Nice layout and great it's automatic
great looking van thought out well, you would have thought they could put the leisure battery somewhere better lol
I like the lay out, would of liked to see the bed down fully. Nice presentation

Many similarities to our Bailey Adamo 754 DL. I can say the Ford Auto is a dream to drive.

solid 9 out of 10. If they get shower little bigger it's 10/10.
Love the shower toilet area. Plenty of room.

Why!!
I wonder if they make one with the driver on the right and sell in the USA
When I saw the rack under the sink, my first thought was “fender storage”. I need to stop swapping CZcams channels
As an American the idea of just 170hp to get that up to speed on a highway terrifies me. Is that really enough to get it up to 80mph easily?
easyly.these are torqy engines and the fuel echonomy is great.;)
yep I've cruised at 90 plus in one of these it's a great engine and weighs a fraction of the amount of the American units
The bathroom is definitely better bigger.
Lovely car 🚗
How far does the bed come down?? Low enough so you don't need a ladder??👍😳🇺🇸😳

Very popular model you say, does that mean there’s a lot of Chausson d’amore? I’ll get my coat.
I just realized. With a microwave and air fryer I could make anything I've needed to make for about a decade.
What's up with that PIPSQUEAK FAUCET
You can't get a POT under there.
“Can’t show you as it’s not operating at the minute”
This gives me shivers, is it broken already?
The vehicle looks like it is not commissioned yet as the leisure battery is sitting on the floor in the cab and the oven has no knobs yet...
So new they hadn't even put the control knobs onto the hob.
why the steering wheel and the entrance are on the right?
Is there a horsepower limitation on vehicles in Europe? In the states, this thing would have no less than 300 hp. I just find this difference to be odd.
Nick. Good video and I know this is the wrong channel. It when do we get to see the finalized Super Yacht Home. Very curious 🤨
Very soon! 😃
Meu like é o 801!
Has the chip shortgage affected new and used motorhome prices as with cars?
Well it's hammered supply, we have just sold our last new one of these for 2022 model year and there's still 10 months of it to go!
Hey Nick, are you guys seeing the same issues with availability and high prices as we see here in the US?
There's a LOT of demand for motorhomes and boats currently
No TV ?
How much..
Only 64,000 what a snip
were still waiting for that awkward david johns and nick interview.
Need a washing machine if you planing to live in this 7/24
Who stole the oven knobs?!

£64,000 ? You're having a laugh. It is now 2023 and a used Chausson 640 is £74,000.
This was filmed in 2021.
