To give you some context for that last clip: it was Celebrity Big Brother, and the woman was David Bowie's ex-wife. David Guest was another housemate on the show, so the woman freaking out thought that's who she was referring to when she said "David is dead". 🤦🏾♀️ -x-
And the extra tragic end to this is about 6 months after the show aired, David Gest did actually die!! RIP to both Davids !

Maybe he was afraid he would get in trouble with the nurses or doctors since he might further injure his friend - although it could have at least been a light-contact hover hug.
