Nice, the only thing I would probably do differently is to cook those 'egg rings' a bit first, and maybe flip them over, before I started cooking the egg.

If you want richer flavor in your colored pasta use metals instead of food coloring
like iron for red, and oxidized copper for a nice green blue

Children would probably find pasta more appetizing if it was colorful. I might try it with my little step brother sometime. Meanwhile, it would probably be more tasteful in a cold pasta dish than a warm one :)
