Crazy part is kids tend to be able to actually see things like ghosts occasionally. My mom believes I always saw my grandpa who died before I was born because in my room, even in the dark, there was a strange shadow of a man in a hat that seemed to be there to protect me or some weird thing.
My parents told me a short story of when i saw a man in our sunroom…but the doors and windows were locked and they hadn’t invited anyone to the house. I said something along the lines of, “I saw a man!” “where did you see him?” (unsuspecting anything yet) “there!” (gestures to the center of the sunroom where no possible human could have gotten in) weird shit

Our old house was apparently haunted and I say this with all seriousness after seeing this figure looking under my bed but its colors were that of heat energy when looking in a thermal view. I rubbed my eyes multiple times for it to still be there, I even stupidly asked, “Dad? Is that you?” knowing full well it wasn’t only for no response in any way. I somehow immediately fell back asleep afterwards and woke up the next morning. That is not the only strange thing that happened at our old house.
That is a very wise question for such a little girl. Would you rather be a table, non existent and unaware of your place in the world or a ghost, forced to roam the human realm for all eternity unable to pass on to happiness. I think I’d take the table.
I know the feeling! Get this... I'm home with my little boy of about 3 years old. He's in his bed and it's about 10pm. He starts freaking out crying and screaming. I get him relaxed and ask what was scary. "A shadow." I can see the moonlight and a tree branch shadow on his wall. So I explain what shadows are and all that. He still seems scared and not interest or frightened by the tree shadow, so I asked, "Where did you see the scary shadow?" He looks me in the eye and says, "Floating above my bed." That freaked me out so bad. I kept it together, but I'm sure my voice cracked as I explained how that wasn't scary. lol
God that would have terrified me, so I’m gonna try to rationalize it as though I were in that situation XD Maybe there was a car or something and the headlights shone through the window and onto the ceiling, and the sort of middle-section of the window blocked it out, making it look like two beams of light. When the car turned away, the light followed it, and it made it look like the middle section was moving too, thus creating a shadow moving across the ceiling. Just my guess. Obviously I don’t live there, so I don’t even know if that’s possible, but that happens to me sometimes so I figured I may as well throw in my guess if it helps you at all :)

My family adopted a pet dog when i was about 8, this dog had unfortunately passed away due to some stray dogs, but for about 2 years I did not know this as I had been playing with him outside nearly everyday despite him supposedly passed away, I could still physically touch him, he could touch me also. I have been thinking about this even till this day and have no clue how i could see and feel him, and the only thing that was going through my mind that noone else had, was that i still genuinely believed he was still alive and legitimately loved him despite everyone else obviously knowing he's gone to which they accepted that part of him, even after some days where he was not in the backyard i still believed he was there and he came back usually the next day, the only time he didn't come back was when my parents eventually told me he was actually gone, and then I had stopped believing he was alive.

Most of us barely remember anything when we had our innocence, only certain things here and there. I've always found that strange. From 3 to say 8 or 9 is basically a blur except either traumatic events or a random thing that may or may not have even happened. So, what if part of losing our innocence is also losing the ability to see and interact with ghost or angels or whatever they are.

Children have a much larger glow of those colors that fades as they grow older. For most.
