Absolutely. I seem to like that series better than most, but just about everyone seems to agree Elita One was portrayed amazingly.

I wouldn't mind a series of Elita 1 being Autobot Leader against a Shockwave led Decepticons. Could be while the Ark/Nemesis crews were in stasis.

That's the idea I had with my WFC figures. The EARTHRISE G1 figures are on one shelf as the Earth Force, while on a second shelf stands Elita-1 and her Cybertronian Resistance (mostly Siege and the fembots from previous series).
She pretty much was except for Alpha Trion.
I thought Alita did lead half the Autobots and Shockwave LED half the Decepticons well Optimus and Megatron and the others were all on Earth
Oh yeah I forgot they were in stasis for so long, that is kind of what we see in WFC but I preferably would like to see a living Cybertron just ruled by Decepticons as the setting, kind of like what was seen in Bumblebee.
And if a full long series is too expensive Im okay with a miniseries
That scene in TFA where Blackarachnia looks up at the moon and starts weeping will never cease to hurt.
In light of this, I highly recommend Blackarachnia for your Halloween special.

A real Tragedy she was never in G1 Season 3. Elita is a great Character. Homaging the French resistance is a fascinating choice.

Hasbro really missed an opportunity for Night Bird to become the first female deception. Megatron really liked her and she could have become even her love interest. He could have went back for her and then taken her back to vector sigma to give her a personality and a vehicle mode.
Megatron g1 never seemed to be the loving type.

G1 and Netflix version of Elita One is my favorite design, love the relationship between both Optimus and Elita they are the greatest couple.😍❤💘

The movie version did her, Arcee and Chromia really dirty. If they just add some elements from the comics into the movie maybe DOTM Shockwave would have been absolutely better because of what he did, it also gives a reason why prime gruesomely killed shockwave, because again Shockwave barley did anything except shoot and commanded his driller bot to do stuff for his.
Elita must have been so heartbroken at primes death during season 3. 💔💔💔💔

She's not that kind of fembot. Granted yes, she was never in season 3 but she most likely retired from active duty and became a stay at home mom for rodimus when he return home after a long day of work.

She is the best. I prefer the War for Cybertron version, for the strength of her conviction and her leadership skills. The G1 cartoon always will hold a special place forever, because I loved the idea of female autobots as a kid. Her WFC toy is my 3rd favorite, I am happy I was able to get her. Great review Rodimus, you are still at the top of your game.

This part I like a lot because she do care. 17:03 Elita-One needs more larger roles for her like boyfriend Optimus Prime she needs more toys of her look like from the cartoon show. I do ship or call it sparkmate Optimus Prime and Elita-One a lot as my favorite Transformers ship. I hope new Transformers show they will make them have a good life without seeing them fight each others. My favorite version of her is always be G1 a lot when I watch that episode of her and her Female Autobot team and OP and EO's origin story as well. Thank you for the video. We all care about you and your friends, family and everything as well.
Mine too, I wanna see these two live a happy life instead of just having a one time thing (in G1) and the rest either she would be dead, Optimus and Elita break up, or fight each other. SERIOUSLY HASBRO HAVE OPTIMUS AND ELITA MARRIED FOR PRIMUS SAKE!!

This might just be me being weird but I'd love to see romance slice of life type series with Optimus and Elita, something more comedy focused and light hearted

It would be nice if we could have a series where we actually have a more idealized take on Optimus and Elita's dynamic from WFC: Less drama, more of actual interactions that would show why they would be friends and a couple, even Conjunx Endura.
Really, the two of them need to be a double act, because there is so much potential for her as a character through her being Optimus' SO, something that lets us see what kind of bot she is as a counterpart to Optimus, whatever his personality is.
I have my own ideas for the two of them, both as Optimus and Elita, and in their former lives as the archivist Orion Pax and the dock worker Ariel.
Their romance is but a mere foundation for their actual interactions, the same way most media portray a duo act of two best friends, only in this case, said best friends are a chill married couple. Certainly not the bickering type, nor the Gomez-and-Morticia romantic type. More like we see why did they even become friends in the first place, let alone lovers.
And ideally, she has a body the height and less exaggerated proportions of her POTP self, but is a truck or some other heavy land vehicle. She's one of the leaders, she deserves to be a Voyager or Voyager-ish in size.
Anyone else noticing how Elita has had a pattern of dying recently? I wish her and Optimus could get a happy ending one day 😞

You'd have to wait for a Third party to do one since the Transformation would be too much for Hasbro to do considering she's such an Obscure character. Looking at her Car mode you could Easily Retool the Studio Series Hot Rod mod into her.

It was perfect! I loved it rodimus. Elita-1 as with her g1 style is my favorite. And I loved her role in the Netflix transformers series.. I just wished she did not die. And I do hope they will bring her back In the future of the transformers franchise.

elita-1 was gonna appear in transformers prime (only in a flashback) but was cut, she made a cameo in transformers rid 2015
My favorite female transformers
I always liked Elita One and her previous form of Ariel. I hope to see more of her in years to come. I'd love to see a toy based on G1 of Elita One, Ariel, Dion and Orion Pax, all Hasbro or Takara official releases. I already got a 3rd party toy of Orion Pax and preodered a 3rd party tranformable toy of Alpha Trion. It would be great if Hasbro releases an official G1. Tranformable version of Alpha Trion too. I grew up on G1, loved Beast Wars from the beginning and loved the G2 comics story (thought the cartoon should've been based on the story in the comics). I just hope Hasbro puts out an official G1 tranformable versions of those four characters. That would be heaven to me. Keep up the great work Rodimus. 'Til All Are One!
I'd also be happy with G1 toys of those figures too. Where is the 3rd party Alpha Trion toy?

Elita One is one of most favorite Autobots characters. She woman grace, beauty, strength, maturity, and honor a female leader that I love about. In a way she remind me of General Beatrix from Final Fantasy IX another female leader I like as well.
I find it fitting the video came out in October since the Transformers Animated episode of Elita was a Halloween episode.
Elita One has been always my favourite fembot: she was not only the first one that I met and who showed us a little more of life in Cybertron but she also has a cool head that looks like a pair of headphones whit a radio incorporated!
I watched Siege cartoon trilogy and to be honest, I enjoyed her.
I guess the guy behind me was correct, she is one of the best thing in the trilogy.
Elita-1 is the Lois Lane of Transformers and I love both Optimus and Elita One’s relationship and it is beautiful
And I hope that for Transformers there will be a good Valentines Day special holiday for their Autobots.
I made certain to get her most recent toy simply because she is Optimus female counterpart. I always liked her and then when I saw Prime I made certain to get him as well.

I would love to see her in a bigger role again... and as a life partner at Optimus' side. I loved her G1 and War for Cybertron version (although the ending disappointed me very much). I found her IDW1 version very "strange" and never got used to it (in my opinion they should have created a new femme for this role), so I didn't like this version of her at all.
Agree on all points. G1 is by far my favorite, followed closely by WFC.
@@RodimusPrimal I was really happy to see her in WFC again, in a bigger role, as soldier AND Optimus life partner but her end (and that of the other Autobots) was very sad and like I said, very disapointing. In my opinion the Netflix Transformers series had some really good ideas, but also some ideas that I didn't like at all. And Elita's fate was one of those bad ideas.
Interestingly enough, my favorite version of Arcee is also G1.

Awesome, I've been waiting for a retrospective on her! When younger we got crossed up and thought Arcee was another version of her because of the color scheme in the G1 movie. Hopefully we get a G1 version of her AND an all-spark guardian colored variant. Anybody else collecting the studio series transformers G1 movie toys? I scored moonbase one Jazz and autobot city Blurr today :-)

Elita One's special power is Cast from HitPoints, like Tellah in Final Fantasy IV (II for SNES) when he cast Meteor on Golbez. Change my mind.

I really like elita and I'm glad she's getting a bigger presence in fiction but as it stands, she's a few notches away from sentinel prime as far as the treatment she usually gets.

Because they don’t know how to make compelling stories without deconstructing them.
Same reason Disney never brought Mara Jade into their new timeline; too many writers want their head heroes to be isolated. It's stupid, but it's why I think they did it.

I'd still like for them to establish a purpose for male and female robots having a relationship in a storyline. Perhaps in another continuity down the road, they could establish that a piece of a male Spark and a piece of a female Spark can create a Spark!!! And since we finally got Origin Bumblebee, Perhaps we will see a proper Elita-1 somewhere down the road. I think mostly everyone wants Cybertronian Wheeljack first though. A side story about how Orion Pax and Ariel met would make a good comic book mini series.
Fantastic video RodimusPrimal!!!!!! I have the 2007/movie 1, PotP, and Netflix/WFC versions of Elita-1 and they are all great figures. My favorite appearances of Elita-1 are the G1 and WfC series. :D Keep on being amazing.

Elita-1 was the highlight on WFC siege. I really like her G1 incarnation as a stubborn fan.

While War for Cybertron is not the best of Transformers, the Elita One in that series is probably the best version.
Elita's voice drove me up the wall in WFC. She always sounded like she was going to cry. Massively overdramatic.
If it's all the same I'll call the female Autobots, the Battle Angels. They deserve a team name better than 'female Autobots'. And it's a good anime inversion.
While I like the original, you can never go wrong having Cree Summer voice acting. I hope more females will be added in future series not just the 1 token female.

This is one part of Transformers I would of loved to see more of Elita 1 and her squad. Would of been cool to have a few episodes in season 2 show the battle between them and Shockwave. Can't go wrong seeing Shockwave more for that matter either showing how he us holding Cyebrtron for Megatron's return.

NGL in WFC it gave me the impression that she survived but was killed by Nemesis Prime.
It doesn't make sense that her body would be exposed and not under the debris of the collapsed building, she was inside with Shockwave. Also her hand was missing fingers as if cut iirc and Nemesis came with a sword in the spoiler toy...

I feel like she died between season 2 and the 86 movie. The decepticons by that time had completely taken over cybertron, so there could’ve been a huge fight that took place, resulting in the death of elita and other autobots

Well, there is an explanation for Elita One , Chromia, and Arcee return in the Rising Storm comics. Chromia was not shown to be killed in Revenge of the Fallen. Because of that and the fact that the three shared a spark connection, Elita-One and Arcee survived. Even though Elita-One was "killed" by Shockwave, the connection is still there. Because of the spark connection, I think Elita-One, Arcee, and Chromia never died in the Bayverse!!

@@RodimusPrimal What about the spark connection which allowed them to survive if only one or two of the three bodies were destroyed? The comics do explain everything the movies failed to explain. Bay created misinformation campaigns. So he should not be trusted. That's what I think, but I understand why Bay had control over his films.

The Golden Age was apparently the 1950s... Ariel's design reminds me of someone at a sock hop. Dion probably named after the singer and I guess they couldn't call Elita, Sue...
I dont think they've done her justice in any media since her introduction . Her and Prime not being able to be together due to commitments but always wanting to be . Same fight but on different battle fields ,both waiting for the day when they can be together again . War dawn always stuck out to me as a kid .

I enjoyed the relationship between her, Optimus, and Alpha Trion. Speaking of which, that's another character I'd love to learn more about. He's so old that he still resembles the Quintesson designs and doesn't transform. Imagine the things he'd seen in all that time.
