No wonder she had 8M following in her high back then. If it was today I’ll prolly bet she could have 18M. She grew pretty fast paving the way for later youtube makeup gurus. She has to be a great entertainer to achieve that.
Her voice may sound soft but the way she explains things sounds pompous and arrogant. I've never heard of her before so I don't have some strange bias against her. I just don't really like the way she talks like she knows better than everyone else and the mistakes in her business are never in her control.
Saddens me that people are against podcasts. Ryan said he wasn't fully happy with his old content and that this is what he enjoys doing.
If you dislike podcasts, don't watch them. But don't make him sad for doing what he's happy with.

I don't like Michelle Phan. This is my first impression of her, and I find her to be the least charismatic guest so far on the show. She has a nice story, being the successful underdog and all, but the way she talked in this video made me not like her. She lampshades while bragging about her accomplishments; her explanation of bitcoin confused both Ryan and me; her energy was low throughout the podcast, bringing down the energy of everyone else. I haven't finished the video yet but based on what I've seen, my gut says she's shady. I imagine it must be wrong, so please change my mind.

I know some(not gays or anyone in particular) are rude but it's a controversial community. I can see why you're mad. It is different but I think it's just fine. Be more open minded and understanding, it's great medicine for your heart.

WeGoBoom I believe, for most individuals or countries, it is hard to imagine the internet going away or permanently going down. Now, to your point, there have been cases in which Bitcoins have been permanently lost. I have a lot of colleagues that have made a lot of money off of bitcoin but I’m not for or against the use of bitcoin. I do think it is hard for most individuals to wrap their heads around it same as it was hard for individuals to wrap their heads around the advent of the internet.

@@Sora_Nai i couldn't agree more, but trusting one's opinion and judgement can also lead you to destruction and this can be shown through countless examples. Even the bitcoin as a future reserves argument has led to bankruptcy of many who i believe didn't understand the fundamentals of the concept. Nevertheless, from my view Michelle is an opportunist and hard worker who i heavily respect.

@@basicsurfer08 Agree. The problem is that bitcoin have no intrinsic value. So they have all these theories about how the bitcoin can be used, f.ex. she talked about it being a reserve. The problem is that bitcoin so far have been following the cycle of economy. So say that the dollar actually becomes worthless as they talked about, then bitcoins will likely be worthless too, just because it's down when the stock market is down, and up when the stock market is up. Therefore it's not a reserve like real gold. At least it's not functioning like it today, and it's only speculations that it will function like that in the future.
All I got is that she's a speculator. Nothing more or less then the usual speculators you'll see around stocks going mad over their own convictions, with 50/50 being wrong & right.

I don't think the frequency of podcasts over skits are going to last forever, unlike popular opinion. Due to severe writers block and pressure last year he wanted to refresh his mind and take a break, and the podcasts were a perfect way to do that. The podcasts are his way of a hiatus. We miss out on the usual stuff more sure but we know he's not, well- dead.
Perhaps later down the road the podcast-to-skit ratio will change and he'll come back refreshed and ready to make more frequent skit videos that he's actually proud of. 2020 is qUAkINg

baole58 well I’m no expert but from the looks of things due to how volatile bitcoin is, you can’t have a currency so volatile operating globally
baole58 for example, a business could import some goods using bitcoin, but by the time the exchange rate is determined to change it into whatever currency they wish, bitcoin could plummet to half the value for no reason at all,so there’d be no reason for companies to use it

One of my favorite episodes. This really shows Michelle’s savy business side. To me, it’s great seeing and hearing business women. This gives me so much inspirational and motivation.
This is the first and only podcast/ interview that I’ve ever finished. Great job and really interesting, I never understood the concept of bitcoin but Michelle explained it in a way that I could understand it. I put on this podcast for some background to clean my room and I just sat on my floor watching this for the full hour.
This was hands down one of the most interesting and engaging podcasts I've ever watched omg. I clicked the video by accident and sat here watch through the whole thing with dripping wet hair that I was supposed to dry an hour ago 😂

The best time to invest is when you don’t hear about it. Stop following the hype, do your research. Surround yourself with smarter people and find a mentor. I personally wouldn’t depend on Bitcoin. But love the business portion! Capital is my challenge at the moment.
people stopped talking about bitcoin when it tanked to $5000. that was the bottom and the time to invest. it started going up in February. Now it's above $10K and the masses are taking notice again.
If you listened to what she said, now is definitely the time to buy.
