Hey! There's a few comments about what I said about double dipping into packs in season 6. I wanted to make it clear that we were just brainstorming at the time and that's not actually a new rule! Thanks, and enjoy the episode :)
I think just making it so that you cant double dipp immediately after would be good like no one would mind if it happened 2/3 episodes later i think
Ok good, I definitely think triple dipping should not be allowed, if you aren’t skilled enough after 2 don’t give 3 😂 but double dipping to see a competent strategy would be cool
@@muffinmannunu9955Honestly at that point it’s more of a liability for the person that went into the pack thrice. Now it’s even easier to screw them over ban-wise since they’re more invested.
glad to hear it, honestly double dipping isn't the issue, the number of bans is a little low however? maybe up those a bit (first place gets 2 bans, second gets 3, third gets 4 just as an idea)

Not to mention the fact that some packs will just never be touched without the possibility of double dipping
This was maybe the best episode of saga with simultaneously the worst duels; I will never get over Farfa yelling "BECAUSE I ONLY PULLED ONE"
About dipping into repeat packs. I think that going into the same pack twice should be the limit. It helps some of the weaker packs get the materials that they need to be actually playable

or as someone wrote, limiting packs to 1 time openning per banlist is also good way to balance it. you are only allowed to go in every secret oack once, but it resets after every banlist

Personally I think the way to fix the farfa issue is to just limit your access to a pack to two times max between banlists, with that counter resetting after every banlist. So in theory you could still go into a single pack 5+ times, but now it's over the course of an entire season rather than all at once, and your opponents have multiple chances to throw bans at the deck before you get the chance to do so.

Unironically, I don’t think that’s enough to beat Gage, since Salad is probably stronger and has really good payoffs like a full board wipe and continuous pops, compared to Mathmech with no Accesscode Talker.

I don't know about not allowing double dipping next season. I think it is fine since it isn't guaranteed you get the pack to show up.
Either a cap (like you can only go into a certain pack 3 times) or you can't go into a particular pack on back to back weeks

King does change its Original ATK and not its ATK (this has nothing to do with it having a question mark, it specifically says that it changes its Original ATK so that's what it does)
But its ATK was also changed by Wightprincess, so it would be able to trigger Violet Chimera had they battled that turn regardless of how King of the Skull Servants works

You know how farfa was malding a few episodes ago about how gage bricks against dzeef and then opens the OTK against him? This week it was Douglas Zeef that bricked against gage and then went full combo against the fish boy
Honestly, Farfa shot himself in the foot this week. Sure, Skull Servant can be fun to play, but it loses to pretty much any interaction. It is probably find the first few weeks, but it's way too late to be playing Skull Servant in this series.

Not sure if anyone else has already said this, but Gagaku 雅楽 is a type of old Japanese music that was played in imperial court. The punk cards are full of references to traditional Japanese culture and history!

Idea for next season: if you pull a card from a currently available selection pack - like Dzeef with VBAccelerator today - you should be allowed to go into that selection pack
I don't think you should restrict people from going into packs twice, or even back to back. It's not likely to happen, and I think it's interesting when it does happen. It also adds to being able to build upon stuff
Especially since the bans are supposed to be what forces you to change decks, with the exception of bullying one person to tank all their options.
I think you should be capped at like 2 times for the same pack.
As far as double-dipping goes, I feel like it's fine. More than that is an issue. Maybe allow one triple-dip? Or one per banlist? Going 4x or more into a pack loses its entertainment value for me a lot.
And yes, I read the pinned comment. I'm merely suggesting an option from a meta-strategy and viewer perspective. Limited pulls is the point of the series, so making triple-dipping an actual strategical decision rather than a fallback is a more entertaining option imo.

I play Skull Servants irl, and Farfa's display was impeccable.
9:21 You see, the weird thing about that is that sometimes they just DO put cards in the old Secret packs as well as the new Selection Packs. The biggest example I can think of is when Tellarknight's modern support released in the Selection Pack "Records of Noble Spirits" back in October, they simultaneously brought all of the new Tellarknight cards (Tellarknight Constellar Caduceus, Constellar Tellarknights, Lyran, Altairan, and also bringing Ptolmaeus from 0 to 1 in MD for the first time) into the old Tellarknights Secret Pack, "Champions of Salvation". I think they also did this with the new T.G. stuff when that was released as well.

(king is also 3000atk now) Then go battle discard princess on damage step against abomination, after that special summon saronir to bait the backrow. Incredible how Gage ended up being the one who spams the boring cyberse slops every week while Farfa is the one who brings in the funny garbage when it used to be the reverse.
Instead of saying people can’t double dip I would say limit the openings of a secret pack to once per “format” per each banlist if that makes sense.

I think the best way to address not double dipping is either one dip per five episode block or only allowing double dipping the last five episodes.
Good to see Gage cooking some salad! Also the Punks have a lot of potential, depending on what Doug goes for next they could even power up some different decks

These titles are getting more and more like lines dropped in a mystery manga on the chapters last page
Those were some nice staples, but Gage still hasn't learned that you want the good pulls to be from the secret packs in Master Saga. Better to pull good from a crap pack than pull crap from a good pack.
