- Pat just returned from his Southeast Odyssey with Chinaco and decided to address a brace that developed during that trip. Chinaco wants to keep Pat in his left eye. So, to address this brace, Pat is working him on the logs. For more information, please visit our website at www.thediscipli... . The answers to many of your questions can be found there. I really love this man. He teaches me so much more than horsemanship. A wise man. Sending you best wishes for a complete and speedy recovery Sir.
True to life , messy in the middle...thank you Sir
Glad to see a post, the absence was concerning...
Glad to hear you had lots of support.
Very Enlightening, I didn't consider that the view from the horse was or could be dominate eye, really helpful! Thanks You - -
Thank God you are on the mend. This horse is so responsive and attentive to you it’s quite a sacred relationship you two have. Thank you.
If you had issues anywhere from Texas to North Dakota you would have been taken care of and then some! That’s who we are.
Blessings to your Oklahoma friends for taking care of you. Take care and recover.
Loved this video Pat, your give a very clear explanation of how a horse is put together, and what to do as its leader, thank you so much. 🙋🏻♀️💪🏻🥰👍🏻 Roos
Get well soon Pat x
Thank you for taking the time to show us some new content while you are on the mend, I'm sure it hurts just walking around. I hope that you will be back in the saddle doing what you love soon enough and without any pain. Please take it easy and don't rush your recovery.
Thank you for showing us the real deal. I have learned so much from you! I am so grateful to you for making these videos and sharing your knowledge.
Thank you. you’re so cool. Have a week or 2 off , we can all wait, speedy recovery
Heal up!!! So glad good people were able to give you a hand when hurt!!
Good to know you're still at it. The absence was concerning, but it goes with the lifestyle sometimes.Nice to see the honesty of you recognizing your horse needed to revisit a prior lesson. There's always tomorrow
Good to see you back Pat , God bless those good folk that looked after you your horses and gear. Get well, Hi Deb hope your well too, all the best from Sydney Australia.
I know very well what you are going thru. Good Luck it gets better.
I wish i can work with you just so i can learn from you.!! Amazing.!! Thanks for make this videos 🙏🏼
I'm really sorry to hear about your hip injury Pat. I hope your recovery is swift and complete. Great video. Your patient example is relevant to everything we do with horses. Much appreciate your expertise and your compassion for horses.
I am so glad you are getting your hip taken care of. We look forward to having you back in the area again.
Glad you are back. Here's wishing you a speedy recovery from your accident. Vaya con Dios' mi amigo.
this left side/right side business is fascinating. Like handedness, I guess. I know the last few dogs I've asked to "shake hands" are left-pawed! Glad you found angels on your trip. Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
Wishing you a speedy recovery thanks for all you do for the horse and rider!! Warming up in Minnesota. Yahoo!!
Sorry to hear about your hip Pat. Glad to hear you're on the mend. We can always learn things from you, whether horsemanship or life lessons on how to approach different challenges. You simply stated, "I'll get that fixed" in the video. That may not seem like much to most people but in a day where people love to make excuses for themselves and self victimize, it's nice to know that there's still someone out there with a public voice that just approaches things like a man. Good to hear and take care of yourself, we all appreciate you.
Wow, so timely.. thank you! Just this week I discovered this right side bracing in my horse and think it may be the cause of so much of his tension. Thank you again, you are by far my favourite source of help in my training efforts.. the real deal, no frills 👍🏻👍🏻
This is one of my favorite channels. Just picked up a 17H Friesian and appreciate all of the pointers.
It was great to see another video posted by Deb, Pat, & Chinaco. Sorry to hear about your injury, but so glad to hear that good people stepped up to take care of you and your rig. Heal up! I've learned so much from watching and trying your methods. My horses are more in tune, softer, and willing.
Glad to see you back!
So glad to see your doing well! Blessing to you and all yours
Another great video. I like the way that Pat lets the colt figure it out. Chinaco was hitting the logs but decided it was easier to not hit them. Pat lets the colt make a mistake but its no big deal, keep moving thru it. Great timing and lots of previous groundwork, makes this lesson taught very quickly. Other folks shouldn't expect it to go this smooth at their place, with their horse-the first time. Best of luck getting that hip healed up-many wishes for a speedy, quick healing so you can get back in the saddle.-- Justin Colt of Cripple Creek, Colorado.
Hope you get better soon !
very interesting vid....his head tilt was really obvious, once you pointed it out!
Heal up rapido! All the best from france 🇫🇷 !!
thanks mr puckett,in my eye sir, you do things right and you share that knowledge and attitude.thank you.my best wishes to a speedy and full recovery
I was so worried Pat! What a well explained video thank you both! 🙏
So relieved to see you back. Your absence was noted and worrying . Thankfully you were well taken care of by some amazing people. Just look at what you and Deb put out into this decaying world, and know that goodness came back to you when you needed it. We are in lock down again here in Nova Scotia. The barn is the only safe place I know right now. TAKE IT EASY AND HEAL WELL.
You just keep teaching me thing. Thanks again for the lesson
I really appreciate seeing this video.
Imperfect foot falls actually give me hope with cracker cross
Hope you heal up and can be pain free soon! A chiropractor told me one time that riding is good for the spine but I don’t know if that applies to a dislocated hip! Hope you can get horseback again in a short time and continue doing your great videos. God’s blessings and healing for you!
Glad your on the mend.
Sorry to hear about the hip but does make me feel better about people with your experience. Good luck and thank you for the videos
sorry to hear about your hip but i’m so happy you posted a video
this video will help me out a lot
Sorry about your hip Pat, but hope you had a productive trip. Glad to see you out and about and looking forward to hearing about your adventures. Take care of yourself.
Oh my gosh that’s awful I’m glad you had help praying for both of you!!! Take care missed you guys
As always your content is superior. I don't know if you have any control over this but I had to pass over at least 8 commercials while attempting to watch your excellent teaching, maybe more. Just fyi. I get a new hip soon. Great to hear about good travels and people.
I love “I’m going to tell him ‘don’t worry about it’,
I'm glad you're doing better, Pat. As an EMT for 23 years, I have seen dislocated joints reset. It's pretty painful, which is why God made sedative drugs. Heed your doctor's counsel, please.
Nice meeting you in NC. Hope you decide to come back east again... preferably Virginia 😉
How did you hurt your hip?
I was named after Clint Corey. Him and my dad rode roughstock together. Gordon Burris
could we get a report on the accident?
A real vaquero
Best Wishes on your recovery! Thanks again for another good video. Something to work on for sure especially when you are laid up. It’s always good stuff. Pat wondering, when you lead the horse do you lead them from both sides? For the longest time when i lead my horse, they were on my right. I changed that up and now lead them from both the left and right sides to get them more balanced.
We lead our horses from the front so they follow us on a feel with both eyes.
Wish I knew you were in GA
🙏
Please be careful with that hip Pat !!!
No Sir!! Thank U!!!
I see deb is playing with her drone
Nope. No drone. Just a gimbal on a long handle.
I wonder if Chinaco can't see as well out the right eye?
No. That is not the reason. Unless he was miraculously cured for the next video.
