    Anthony, just found this older video. What an amazing piece of history. I wish I could understand what he was saying. Are there any More videos like this of Master Huang teaching?

    A great tai chi historical document even if, and I apologize for saying this, as this teacher is often viewed as a grand master, its content shows a very low tai chi level!

      I appreciated your humbleness and I must clarify my comment. First I believe that we are all seekers of the way and nowadays there are no real masters as those of the past. Saying this, what shocks me, is the profusion of students of those former masters that call or let call them masters and even grandmasters, as many proclame be better than their teachers. How can this be? Professor Cheng never claimed that from Yang Cheng Fu. For me we must regard to those forner masters, Professor being one of them, as the true reference, and not to their followers who don't touch even thier heels.

      @@jaugmartins Thank you for your comment, frankly I am also a Tai Chi beginner. The purpose of sharing this video is to hope that the person who likes it can see what he likes, and for those friends who don't agree can take it Just it as entertainment. After all, everyone's views are not necessarily the same, I do not object to your comments, Maybe because you don’t know this Master, really thank for your suggestions , very good.

      Hi; We are all beginners. Beginner's mind is the real secret. As foor Huang Sheng Shyan ,I know his background and fame in Southern Asia, and of course his famous bout 1973.His practice is the result of a fusion between Tai Chi and White Crane Kung Fu.

      @@jaugmartins I'm not sure how to interpret your comments other than to read them as going beyond reverence for past masters and into an exaggerated dismissal of all current practitioners, whatever term they call themselves, as inferior to the great masters of the 20th century who are now legends. Your comments about the grandmaster shown in these simple documentary videos are in my view lacking real perspective and even insulting. Is Grandmaster Wang Peisheng somewhere in your hierarchy of the greatest Tai Chi Chuan masters ever, for example? I have no desire to downgrade the great masters of the past 100 years, but I don't believe you do them any great honor by assuming, as you do, that they were vastly superior to the greatest masters alive today. How do you even know the skill level of those past great masters to compare them with the best who are living? It seems rather shallow to me.

    打太極好,还是跳广场舞好?

    • @AnthonyYap2828
      @AnthonyYap2828  Před 4 lety

      太极是意气神的运动,以静制动,制自己内心的动可以修身养性,耐性,爆性。让自己可以冷静,养气,养神,养意。广场舞应该没这样的感觉但他是有氧运动。可以尝试太极不喜欢才选择其他的吧。
