A New Take on the Great Commission

  • While we fully support and endorse actual mission and evangelization, we have taken the second part of the great Commission and invested ourselves into the lives that God has given us by nurturing, growing and equipping them for whatever God has planned for their lives. That is intentional, immersive and interdependent Biblical discipleship which focuses on an end product rather than numbers and statistics, because we believe that true Biblical discipleship is the great Omission of the great Commission.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes:

What a wonderful testimony and teaching!! I gave my heart to Jesus in March of 1984 and I haven’t been the same since. I started covering my head about 2 years ago and I make my own clothes and I wear only dresses, lol The Lord took vanity clear out of me!!! People around me doesn’t understand the covering or the way I dress but it’s my walk with God and I’ll do what He wants me to do. I would love to live in a place like were you live, everyone living and believing on one thing and that is that Jesus died for our sins and He’s my deliver, my savior, my everything!!! Thank you and your dad for sharing!! May God bless you!!! 🙏🏼🌹

First of all, she is reading from a fake Bible. Only KJV is true scripture.
Second, It is forbidden for a woman to teach.
      1 Timothy 2:12 (KJV)
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
      Matthew 7:15-20 (KJV)
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

@@ZdravNaukKJV I'm Confused why would you use that scripture her father is teaching. I'm a born again Christian and in my church no woman teaches the older men from age say 10 years up but a woman can teach children. I only use the KJV as well. I don't get you bashing her and somewhat using the Bible out of context that's wrong as well. Everything Elder Walter said is true I don't see your point. We don't believe in head covering and I wear pants butthats my believes. I don't see every thing exactly as Adina's believes but I'm not gonna bash her or hurt her. She does not use KJV, that is a sign that she is not saved.
How did I use that out of context? please explain?

You need to examine yourself. (2 Cor 13:5)

  • @warneachothereverydayheb.3406

Wow! I just wanted to cry for joy! I rejoice with you for what you have found in Jesus Christ. Your father couldn't have said it better. We too are so concerned, about the mess that our churches are in. And you are right, we have been focusing on the Going and sending, but not the discipleship. If we aren't stable in our walk and knowledge of Jesus, we have nothing to give to anyone else. Yesterday, we went to visit a Mennonite congregation. We'd never been so fed for such a long time. Yes, our approach must change. We must demonstrate the change to the world. I know that we look longingly at your koinonia, but it hasn't come about easy, has it. This was your most inspiring production yet, and timely for us. It answered some very important questions. I do believe that you all had a revival in 2006. We all need one. PTL! Hallelu-Yah!

Your Dad is very wise and pragmatic - if there were more of him in the world there would be far, far LESS of the horrible troubles & problems the world is struggling with. He's so right - money does little to solve problems and is such a shame these days how we glorify money, celebrity and things - the ostentation and accumulation of stuff to validate existence... And Churches have done this for thousands of years to ill effect. People are the Promise - I do wish you all well and thank you for spreading your values far & wide. Keep safe.

Your dad has such wisdom. What a blessing. Ive never thought about it from this perspective, but now I am enlightened. Our churches are focused on getting people saved, but we seem to fail at discipling them in their new walk with Jesus. It goes both ways though, I see young people dedicate their lives to Christ but stop coming to church regularly. We try to reach out, but it seems that they are taken with the world and their priorities change. Sad, but I hope we can change and begin to truly minister to these new Christians and help them in their journey.

there's so much to say in response to this young lady's video. look how many subscribers she has and if you've watched hers and all the Fort Pitt videos you know that they show something that is so lacking outside of their community. how many of us long for such a christian atmosphere and how many of us can't wait for another of their videos to be posted so we can maybe feel like we're part of their community. if this isn't "The Great Commision" being practiced then I don't know what is. if you can watch one of their videos or listen to this man and not long for a deeper relationship with Christ then you've got a heck of a hard heart. I'll bet these mega church prosperity preachers we have out here don't get as many true converts as this man has just being in his daughter's videos. I watched this young lady decorate her bedroom wall and felt blessed! adina and others at Fort Pitt have a God given talent for making videos and I can't wait for new ones. I found your Dad's perspective very interesting! On one hand, he's very right about the lack of love for one another and the amount of flashiness without substance. On the other hand, though, I do believe that the mission field is absolutely ripe with success. I think about the work of Samaritan's Purse and their Operation Christmas Child shoebox ministry. You can watch video after video of people who experience the love of Christ through the gifts they are given and then become believers through their Bible Study ministry. Not to mention, Acts 1:8 says, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” The west, including the US and where your colony is, is in fact the "uttermost parts of the earth." That seems like clear evidence that the mission field is successful. That being said, this video did make me consider what and where we are spending our money. If we aren't using that money on effective ministries, we shouldn't hesitate to adjust.

I love your father! How blessed you all are, to be living like the book of acts. I long for a Christian family that functions in one mind, one spirit, and one accord!
We are so fragmented in the West. Every one is so busy about their own business that they don't have time for each other. I homeschool but wish I had a multitude of godly counsel to help me in this great endeavor. I know that we are made for community, but because the church is so fragmented here in America, we are so spread out, and it becomes more time and effort to get together with others.
Please pray for us! We come from broken homes, broken families, and broken communities. My greatest outreach is here in the comment section of youtube.
Those of us who are dealing with trying to connect with other like-minded believers within our fragmented western church long for tight knit community to glean from.
I cry out to my Lord regularly to help my spouse and I be the examples that our children need, but am constantly battling thoughts of inadequacy. I know I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, so I won't give up! I will not hand them over to this culture that refuses to acknowledge God and insists on advocating lies!
I am so impressed with Adina's maturity and ability to express herself in the way that's pleasing to God. I know that comes from what she gleans from her community. I am praying for my children to also be able to express themselves in such mature and thoughtful ways!
My children are amazing and awesome! While I battle these thoughts of inadequacy, I see the Lord's fingerprints all over them! In my weakness, His strength is perfected! I know a key measure of success in this Christian walk is patience and trust in the One who is worthy of it all!
May patience have her perfect work in me that I may be entire and complete, in want of nothing!!!
I love you family!!! Thank you for sharing your lives and wisdom with us! One day we will all be One big family without separation! Until then, may the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus!!!

Thank you, Alina, and your father. As a pastor, I have the same desire. Many churches I have seen focus on getting people saved but not on giving them the meat of the Word because they have never started them on anything but the milk of the word. I used to work on a farm, and part of my job was to teach the new calves to drink. And my job as a pastor includes teaching young Christians to drink the milk so they can acquire a taste for and a desire for the meat … May the Lord bless your community

Thank your father for his words. I understand what he said and agree. Some preachers are teachers and some it is a job. I have seen families and churches split because of disagreements. Just because of a word or a verse.

Your father is a wise man. He speaks so much truth. The world is broken and with the resources put into Christianity, it shouldn’t be. It’s not about religion but a relationship with Jesus. It IS about being authentic in the inside as well as the outside. There’s too much prosperity teaching and not enough truth, the truth of the gospel. The gospel IS to be shared but it must be lived in truth.

St. Augustine's big theme is the "whole Christ". Christ is the head and we are his body. We are all different parts of his body so we don't all do the same thing as St. Paul says in I Corinthians 12.
Your dad is right on!!!! Thank you! God bless you!

Thank you so much for this Q&A. Do appreciate so much your Father's comments. Especially on being authentic in the inside and out and also on the apostle Paul talking about counting all a loss and to be known and know Christ. My spirit bore witness to what was said.
Has the discipleship book you Father did available for purchase? Thanks again for your time. God bless.

Well answered. Thankyou for the words of your father. I agree with the others, i love to hear him speak. This is another fine video Adina. I liked the person alone on the river bank seeking God. It is our love of Christ that compels us.

    Hello,
It is very exciting to hear the humility in knowing it takes a minute by minute, day by day running of the race to win, from a shepherd of God's people. Not many can understand how as you say the "elusive" love of Christ in the church community. I do see it sometimes but, mostly not.
I have needed love for so long, somehow the Precious Heavenly Father has taught as needed with my 7 children and wife. Just when I think I can't handle the world He takes control. My biggest hope on this earth is to show His love to someone as needing as I.
Your goals are so far reaching into the generations your community will raise up.

I would hope that those who watch your videos will see how your colony lives and sees how much love and honor you have for the Lord and your neighbors that they will choose to give Christ a chance if they haven't just by the way your people live.

Adina your Father is very wise. This may be one of the most outstanding teachings on your vlog. I listen to the Sunday sermons and hunger for more teaching from him.
Nowadays people may get saved but there is no follow up, we fall on our faces when it comes to discipleship. They newly saved wander and fall away because no one teaches them the truth, the meat.
May our Holy God continue to bless you and Fort Pitt Christian Community.

I wasn’t going to do this as my planned devotional today, but God is speaking here… and I need to listen.
My church’s sermon this past week was about making changes and do
HIS Work that has taken a back seat in favor of loud boastful displays of God.
