  • Magnetic declination at a point on earth is the angle between the earth's geographic & magnetic meridian at that point. Meridians can be thought of great circles that pass through a point on earth and either the geographic or the magnetic poles.

    The way that you (i don't know what should I write to give you more honour than "you" couse it isn't hindi) give us a question in the start of the lecture and we are able to answer it in the end gives me a feeling of accomplishment and it also makes the video far more engaging striking curiosity at the start is a fantabulous technique I am going to use it when I will become a physics professor bow down to you.

    It's the molten magma inside the earth's core and mantle that is responsible for the earth's magnetic field coupled with the earth's rotation. That also explains the shifting of the magnetic pole because of the movement of the molten magma.

    With that magnetic pole moving at 30 miles a year now its should make you question and understand the narrative of man-made global warming. Its the planet,, not man.. Im open for ideas on that statement.. I like this video. Interesting stuff.
