I like the idea of a security box in the back but I dont like losing that little compartment either. I'm sure theres a way you could raise the box and still have it secured
So if someone has a torque bit they can easily steel your entire box. I thought it was going to bolt to the floor on the inside.
Will this box fit if you installed the rear seat recline brackets
Yes it does, just installed mine.
I like the idea of a box like this but I hate that you lose that little space underneath it. I have a 2 door so ever little bit of storage helps.
Like the vid..however item not 2dr friendly think I'll pass on this 1
I’d take the drawer out before I put it in
0:27, I laugh...."16ga heavy duty steel"....lol
@@billiefrank2837 it's not like 16g is bad for what it is to keep the passerby from poking around. But a good stout screwdriver is all I'd need.
16 gauge steel is the same strength as a file cabinet. For secure storage you need 10 gauge or better (the smaller the #, the thicker the steel)
The body of a Jeep is 19 gauge, and you don't see people busting out an angle grinder to break into them do you? I think 16 is plenty for this application. As many of us are using this for off-roading, we don't need a 300 lb box to lug around.
That’s a steel handle. Not aluminum
Two hour install? 🤔 What are they not telling us?? Lol
This is a JKU not a JK. For f sakes how unprofessional
A 4-Door JK is still a JK, technically. -Zach
