Matt has corrected me in that I put in the wrong clip for the melanistic lizard! There is a clip of it, but in the wrong place.

Awesome. I don't know how you found so many all together

A whole day of searching! Matt knew all the right spots. Some clips and photos are his from previous outings as well. Thanks for watching!

Love the music and certainly could feel your concern about wild life.
    Good day

Cheers! Link to the music is in the description. I do worry about our green spaces being rinsed for profit. Glad others do too.

Thank you so much for your video
You seem such an interesting person to be around and have so much knowledge
I wish I could still see common lizards around my area
I’ve not spotted any for years
They seem to have disappeared :(

Thank you for your kind comment and I'm so glad you enjoyed our video! Such a shame to hear lizards in your area have disappeared :( unfortunately it happens a lot as humans destroy their habitats, among other things.

Sorry for the awful audio! I only had my phone and no quality external mic so unfortunately there is a lot of wind and white noise as well as sniffling and breathing sounds ew. I tried fixing it but not much could be done so I just used the "best" parts. I'm also having issues with HitFilm and text, so I wasn't able to add what I wanted. I hope you enjoy anyway. But turn ur audio up lol

Thought it was a giant, man and woman eating lizard charging through the Avon valley, then realised it was a train. Disappointed.

Sorry to disappoint! Will try to find a giant man-eater lizard next time.

Good wee video pal 👍🏻 not many people know theres native reptiles in the UK but if they did, i think there would be more interest in finding out more about them. Its a shame they seem to be on the decline 👎🏻

Thanks! They are very cool little creatures! We were hoping this video would raise some awareness. It is a shame indeed

Just confirming, you mean to ask if there's any part of the UK where there is no lizards right? Either way, thanks for checking out the video :)

To answer your question, you get them pretty much all over but nowhere near as common in Scotland! They are most common in the slightly warmer areas so the further north you get, the less you'll see of them, I believe. No worries, I hope you find some! The weather's getting warmer so they will be getting easier to spot.
